2023 NHL All-Star Game jerseys leak

2023 NHL All-Star Game jerseys leak

After first being listed on eBay, it looks like the jerseys for the 2023 NHL All-Star Game have been leaked.

Previous rumors suggested the jerseys would have a real 1990s vibe, and that’s exactly what we’re seeing with the neon teal and pink colors. The Eastern Conference jersey will have a black base with a teal neck, teal and pink striping in the shape of a star and a white lower half. The Western Conference variant will have a white base, black neck, black and pink striping with a teal lower half.

The style is the same one used during the mid-1990s, just with different coloring. The Western Conference used purple and black as the main colors, while the Eastern Conference had a predominantly teal design with brown striping.

Nothing else is known about the jerseys right now, such as whether the player’s NHL team logo will appear on the shoulders like in the past. The new designs will see Eastern and Western Conference wording for the first time since the 2009 game in Montreal. Since then, the NHL has mainly used the NHL logos recolored to match different jersey designs for the most part, with recolored team logos taking center stage in 2019 and 2020 with black, white and grey uniforms.

The NHL All-Star Game Weekend will be hosted by the Florida Panthers on Feb. 3-4. The skills competition will occur Friday, with the actual game taking place the following day. The 2023 iteration will once again use a divisional, three-game tournament format at 3-on-3. Each team will use nine skaters and two goalies.

The league already announced its first 32 players for the all-star festivities earlier this month. The remaining players will be named later this evening.
