The Minnesota Wild have signed veteran defender Alex Goligoski to a one-year deal worth $5,000,000, according to Frank Seravalli.

Goligoski is coming off of a five-year deal worth $27,375,000 that he signed with the Arizona Coyotes back in 2016. Over that time, Goligoski was a minute-munching machine for the Coyotes, logging 22:41 per game while only missing a handful of games due to injury.
The Wild bought out @Ryan Suter earlier this off-season so adding a veteran in Goligoski fills that hole. In 2021, the soon-to-be-36-year-old Goligoski played 56 games, scoring three goals and 22 points, and logged 23:00 per night.
