Betano Daily Bets: Sabres to be 100-point team & Devils Over 108.5

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Daily Faceoff Live for another Betano Daily Bets segment. With the NHL season right around the corner, Tyler takes a look at a couple more future bets for the season. This time eyeing up the young and firey Buffalo Sabres to crack the 100-point threshold and the creative and flashy New Jersey Devils to go over 108.5 points.
Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s check out our daily bets with Betano. 19+, please play responsibly. The game starts now with Betano.ca, and let’s jump into it.
Tyler Yaremchuk: I have a couple of season-long prop bets. The two teams we talked about today, I know we like juicy bets. So Buffalo Sabres to make the playoffs is like +100; it’s even money. The Sabres over/under is not juicy, but Frank, can the Sabres be a 100-point team and improve by 9 points? Is that worth taking the three-to-one juice?
Frank Seravalli: Yes, I would. I mean, look, if Seattle can be a 100-point team last year, why can’t Buffalo be one this year? The usual, like, let’s take a step back, having a 100-point team was a real thing; for whatever reason, a lot of teams are hitting it, and it feels easier than previously it feels. The usual barrier to entry is 96 or 95 to the playoffs; to be five or six points north of that is not really a tough ask. So I like that juice.
Tyler Yaremchuk: I’m also really intrigued with this Devils line at 108.5; they hit relatively easy last year, getting up to 112. I don’t think their division is getting more difficult this year, so I think Devils at over 108.5 should be a safe place.
Frank Seravalli: Yep. I don’t think there’s another team as exciting to watch as New Jersey. With the creativity and the speed with which they play, they’re going to be a really fun team to watch this year, and I’d take the over.
