Betano Daily Bets: Tyler’s 2022-23 betting season review

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Daily Faceoff Live for another Betano Daily Bets segment.
Just two games on this Friday’s NHL slate as we get prepared for the Stanley Cup Playoffs starting on Monday! Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs and for today’s betting segment he goes through his 2022-23 betting season.
Tyler Yaremchuk: We are just going to take a look back at a few of my season-long bets over at Betano. The game starts now with Betano.ca and let’s jump into it.
Tyler Yaremchuk: I had five bets at the start of the year, wagered a total of 4.5 units and I went two for three. I actually finished up, just over point three of a unit, and I nailed a couple of my Edmonton Oilers bets. Edmonton to go over 103.5 points, and they crushed that, Connor McDavid to win the Hart Trophy was a very juicy +230 at the start of the year which is insane. I almost wish I would’ve put more than a full unit on it.
Tyler Yaremchuk: Now Auston Matthews not winning the rocket, again there are bets you get wrong and where you don’t hate your process and I still think +180 was really good odds and he simply just had a down year.
Tyler Yaremchuk: The New York Islanders to miss playoffs was another bet, and I actually still stand by that bet as well. You can go back the last month and a bit of the season and since the trade deadline, they’re like 18th in the NHL. They didn’t get in because they were good, they got in because everyone else around them was mediocre or bad like they should’ve missed and the Pittsburgh Penguins should’ve taken care of business. I didn’t hate that bet, even though I got it wrong. But I’m happy I went with those two Oilers ones the Oilers also came a couple of points from winning the Pacific and I had a unit on that as well. Looking back, I like my process with these season-long bets and we ended up money which is more than I can say for my day-to-day betting. But, we still got the playoffs and there should be some nice underdogs to bet on.
