Betway Bets of the Day — Stützle, Larkin Shot Props

Welcome to the Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL Odds site Betway!
Tim Stützle (OTT) — Over 3.5 SOG (+125)
Stützle has had a nice start to the 2023-24 season, picking up one point in each of the Senators’ first three games. His shot volume has hit new heights, as he’s fired 14 shots on net in just three games (4.7 SOG/gm). That would put him on pace for 383 shots in 82 games, 155 more shots than he had a season ago. Officially, he’s only hit this over once in three games but had three shots in the two games he hasn’t. It seems like the market hasn’t fully adjusted to his new shot volume, so take the plus-money odds and run. Washington has been caved in at 5v5 so far this season, giving up the most 5v5 shots against/60 (37.9) in the NHL, so Stützle should have plenty of chances to get rubber to the net tonight.
Dylan Larkin (DET) — Over 3.5 SOG (-125)
You don’t get quite as good odds for Larkin going over 3.5 shots tonight, but the probability of it hitting is definitely higher. He’s hit this over in all three games this season, and he’s averaging an absurd 6.0 shots on goal per game. The -125 line is pretty short for a player who is firing everything on the net so far. After three games, Pittsburgh is in the bottom half of the league in shots against, giving up 30.3 per game.
