Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!

Wednesday featured a pair of game twos, starting in sin city the Vegas Golden Knights got a two goal showing from deadline pickup Ivan Barbashev to outgun the Edmonton Oilers 6-4.

Leon Draisaitl did his best to lead his team to victory scoring four goal but it wasn’t enough. This is the second straight night where a player scored four goals in a losing effort. Draisaitl now has an astonishing 11 goals in seven playoff games.

In Raleigh the Hurricanes despite the absence of Andrei Svechnikov, Max Pacioretty and Teuvo Teräväinen defeated the New Jersey Devils 5-1. Devils goalie Akira Schmid was pulled after allowing three goals on 11 shots.

Two games will take place on Thursday as both the Seattle Kraken and Florida Panthers will look to take a 2-0 lead in their respective series. Here is a goalie bet I like for tonight’s game.

Goalie Prop

Bet on Sergei Bobrovsky to make over 29.5 saves at -125.

Tonight is a massive night for the Toronto Maple Leafs as a loss tonight would mean the Panthers would return home for the next two games up 2-0 in the series. This is as close to a must win as you can find in game two of a series.

With that being in mind expect Toronto to be all over the ice and Bobrovsky to make an ample of saves to keep the Panthers in the game.

In Florida’s last four games Bobrovsky has made 140 saves which is an average of 35 saves per game. I like the over 29.5 a lot in tonight’s game.

Last Game Bet

Akira Schmid to make under 30.5 saves at -115

Schmid was pulled after allowing three goals on 11 shots thus his under hit very easily and improved our record for the playoffs to 4-2.
