Boston Bruins acquire Taylor Hall

The Boston Bruins have made a massive splash getting the belle of the trade deadline ball in Taylor Hall.
The cost? Inexpensive.
According to TSN’s Darren Dreger, Buffalo is only receiving 2021 second round pick and forward Anders Bjork while retaining 50% of Hall’s salary. While Hall’s raw numbers are far from good, he’s continually made his teammates better around him on the ice, even while the Sabres struggled through the season.
He now joins an already stacked Boston forward group and will find a home alongside some incredibly talented players in David Pastrnak, Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand, making Boston a instant contender out of the east.
Hall has only scored two goals and 19 points in 37 games this year, but has racked up an impressive 582 points in 664 career games, with a Hart Trophy to his name, too.
In return, Buffalo gets back a strong defensive forward in Bjork, but one that has struggled to muster much offence scoring just 39 points in 138 NHL games.
