Boston Bruins’ forward David Pastrnak hit a major milestone Tuesday night, scoring his 400th career NHL regular-season goal in Boston’s TD Garden against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Pastrnak, 29, becomes just the 112th player in NHL history to reach the 400-goal mark. With an assist recorded earlier in the game, the Czech native has 400 goals and 454 assists for 854 points in 774 career regular-season games.

Pastrnak also becomes the sixth Bruin in franchise history to reach 400 career goals. The franchise record for goals belongs to Johnny Bucyk with 545, who skated with the club between 1957 and 1978.

So far in 2025-26, Pastrnak has nine goals and 12 assists for 21 points in 18 games. Last season, Pastrnak finished with 43 goals and 63 assists for 106 points.

Now in his 12th NHL campaign, Pastrnak, a first-round pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, has recorded three 100-point campaigns, including 113 in 2022-23. That season, he led the league with 43 even-strength goals and 13 game-winning goals.

Pastrnak has also skated in 90 career playoff games, where he scored 39 goals and added 48 assists for 87 points. He was part of Boston’s 2019 Stanley Cup Final run, where he posted nine goals and 10 assists for 19 points.

Going into Tuesday night, the Bruins are 10-7-0 with 20 points through their first 17 games. While Pastrnak leads the team in points, forward Morgan Geekie leads the Bruins in goals with 11 while defenseman Charlie McAvoy has recorded 14 assists.
