Boston Fleet sign defender Noemi Neubauerová

The Boston Fleet bolstered their roster in the final game of the regular season, signing defender Noemi Neubauerová to a PWHL standard player agreement for Saturday’s clash against the New York Sirens — the 30th game of the regular season.
Hailing from Prague, Czechia, Neubauerová has played two games this season with the Fleet, having been with the club on a 10-day contract from April 15 to April 25. Prior to her time with the Fleet, the 26-year-old was within the Toronto Sceptres organization, where she played 20 games in the 2024-25 season
Prior to that, she won a league championship in Switzerland with Eissportverein Zug, scoring 18 goals and 15 assists for 33 points in 26 regular-season games, before keeping her pace up with five goals and three assists in the Swiss league playoffs.
Before pursuing her professional career, Neubauerová played American high school hockey, then a five-season NCAA career, which included four years at Colgate University before completing her collegiate tenure with an 11-goal, 15-assist season at Providence College.
She has also amassed extensive international experience, playing for her nation at the 2022 and 2026 Olympics and winning two bronze medals across her seven appearances at the IIHF Women’s World Championship.
In a corresponding move on Saturday, the Fleet sent rookie defender Mia Biotti to the team’s reserve list after the former Harvard University blueliner posted a pair of assists in 13 games.
The Fleet enters the final regular season game sitting second in the PWHL, one point behind the Montreal Victoire for the top spot.
A win against the New York Sirens would give them the option to select their first-round opponent from either the third-place Minnesota Frost or one of the Toronto Sceptres and Ottawa Charge, who face off in a winner-take-all regular-season finale to determine the final place in the postseason.
