Canadian Hockey League roster announced for 2025 CHL USA Prospects Challenge

The Canadian Hockey League has announced the full roster for the 2025 CHL USA Prospects Challenge, taking place Nov. 25-26 in Calgary and Lethbridge, Alberta.
The roster features prospects for the 2026 NHL Draft that were selected in consultation with all 32 NHL teams. This is the second time the showcase event has taken place, with the CHL sweeping the two-game series against the USA Hockey National Team Development Program in Ontario last November.
Of note, all 15 CHL players who were given an A rating (projected first-rounders) from NHL Central Scouting last week were named to the roster.
USA’s roster will be made up of the team’s current U-18 USNTDP group. Of note, CHL goaltender Harrison Boettiger will participate in the event for the second time after serving as one of USA’s three goaltenders in 2024
Ryan Lin, Ryan Roobroeck and Xavier Villeneuve were part of the CHL’s initial roster announcement from September. The CHL also previously announced that former NHL coach Willie Desjardins will serve as bench boss, with Mike Johnston, Jay McKee, and Sylvain Favreau serving as assistants.
