Chicago Blackhawks cancel Saturday practice over potential COVID-19 exposure


Chicago cancelled a Saturday practice over an “abundance of caution” due to potential exposure to COVID-19, the team said.
No other information has been given as to the cancellation.
The Chicago Blackhawks have cancelled today’s practice at Fifth Third Arena out of an abundance of caution due to potential exposure of COVID-19.

Chicago played the Columbus Blue Jackets last night, falling 2-1, and the team currently has three players on the league’s protocol list — Alex DeBrincat, Adam Boqvist and Lucas Wallmark.
The two teams were set to play Sunday night and there’s no word on if that game will be postponed.
