Chicago Blackhawks cancel Saturday practice over potential COVID-19 exposure

Chicago cancelled a Saturday practice over an “abundance of caution” due to potential exposure to COVID-19, the team said.

No other information has been given as to the cancellation.

Chicago played the Columbus Blue Jackets last night, falling 2-1, and the team currently has three players on the league’s protocol list — Alex DeBrincat, Adam Boqvist and Lucas Wallmark.

The two teams were set to play Sunday night and there’s no word on if that game will be postponed.
