Blackhawks’ Jason Dickinson leaves game against Bruins with undisclosed injury

Chicago Blackhawks’ forward Jason Dickinson left Thursday’s game against the Boston Bruins with an undisclosed injury and did not return, according to a team statement.

Dickinson did not come out for the third period. In 8:25 of ice time, he finished with one hit and two penalty minutes.
Chicago lost 4-3 to the Bruins.
Dickinson, 30, scored seven goals and nine assists for 16 points in 59 regular-season games in 2024-25. In four seasons with Chicago, he’s recorded 38 goals and 43 assists for 81 points.
The Blackhawks signed Dickinson to a two-year contract extension in January 2024, paying the forward $4.25 million through the 2025-26 campaign. He set career highs that season, finishing with 22 goals and 35 points.
Now in his 12th NHL season, Dickinson, a native of Georgetown, Ont., has 68 goals and 87 assists for 155 points in 503 career regular-season games with the Blackhawks, Vancouver Canucks and Dallas Stars.
He’s also played in 40 career Stanley Cup Playoff games, scoring five goals and four assists for nine points. He was part of the Stars’ Stanley Cup Final run in 2020.
Dickinson spent parts of four seasons in the American Hockey League with the Texas Stars, scoring 49 goals and 65 assists for 114 points in 175 regular-season games.
Taken No. 29 overall by Dallas in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, Dickinson spent four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with the Guelph Storm, scoring 84 goals and 147 assists for 231 points in 253 career regular-season games. He helped the Storm win the OHL Championship in 2014.
The Blackhawks finished 25-46-11 with 61 points in 2024-25, last in the Central Division and the second-worst record in both the Western Conference the league.
