The Chicago Blackhawks keep making moves – albeit, a rather minor one this time.

The Blackhawks have traded forward Dylan Sikura to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for forward Max Golod.

Sikura, 27, has spent the entire season in the AHL, scoring 14 goals and 18 assists for 32 points in 52 games with Rockford. Sikura had a breakout season last year, recording 33 goals and 73 points in 60 games with the Colorado Eagles.

Sikura has 89 goals and 195 points in 233 AHL games, including a goal and an assist against the Toronto Marlies on Wednesday. The 2017 Spengler Cup champion also has 58 games of NHL experience with Chicago, Vegas and Colorado. He’ll report to the San Diego Gulls for the time being.

Golod, 22, has 43 points in 42 games with the ECHL’s Tulsa Oilers. He has 72 points in 84 games over three seasons since turning pro following the end of his three-year OHL career with the Erie Otters. Golod also has two goals and nine points in 35 games San Diego. Golod will go directly to the ECHL’s Indy Fuel.

The Gulls also sent former NHLer Rocco Grimaldi to the Icehogs. Grimaldi isn’t signed to an NHL deal, but currently sits sixth in AHL scoring.
