Colin Miller suffered a broken nose in Game 4

Vegas Golden Knights’ defensemen Colin Miller suffered a broken nose during the Washington Capitals’ fifth goal of Game 4 on Monday.

Capitals forward T.J. Oshie punished Miller while completing a drop-pass to Nicklas Backstrom in the third period of the Capitals’ 6-2 win.

Miller was in obvious pain on the ice, leaving a passing-lane open for Backstrom to find the goal-scorer Michal Kempny.

Miller appeared to his hit face off of Oshie’s helmet during the collision, causing the broken nose. The defenseman was able to finish Game 4 after getting a few plugs to stop the bleeding.

The Golden Knights return to Vegas with their backs against the ropes, down 3-to-1 and facing elimination.
