For the sixth time in these Stanley Cup Playoffs, we have a game seven to enjoy! The Hurricanes and Rangers will finish up their series tonight with a winner take all game at PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina with the winner moving on to the Eastern Conference Final.
There are a few spots that I like in this game tonight and they’re both player props.
Vincent Trocheck over 0.5 points is paying out +115 on Pointsbet Canada and I think that’s a really good price. Trocheck has nine points in 13 games so far in these playoffs and he’s scored a goal in back-to-back games. It’s not crazy to think he could extend his point streak to three games tonight.
I also like Mika Zibanejad over 0.5 assists at +125. Zibanejad has nine apples in 13 playoff games so far during the Rangers run but he only have one so far in the second round. He has scored in four straight games but I think he’s due for an assist.
Those are the two bets I’ll be playing. I’m not confident enough in either side here to take one of them to win but if I had to, I think I’d lean more towards the Rangers. They looked really good in game six, scoring five goals on Antti Raanta. On top of that, Igor Shesterkin has been unbelievable all series and I’ll always lean more towards the team with the better goalie in a game seven situation. +130 is a decent price but at the same time, the home team has won every game in this series and the Rangers have only won once on the road in these playoffs. I’m just not quite confident enough to bet on a winner tonight.
