We’ve got a great slate tonight, with several players at each position jumping out as great value options who are either in critical roles for their team or providing great production.

This value sheet includes salaries, projections for DraftKings and FanDuel, and three punt defencemen options.

These projections don’t tell you exactly what’s going to happen. One game sample has too much randomness to pin down exact predictions. Instead, the projections represent a player’s average performance on average if that matchup was played repeatedly. There is a wide range of possible outcomes, and the projections represent each player’s average of those possibilities.

FULL DFO Daily Projections

Warren Foegele (W, EDM) – vs CBJ – (DK-$4,300 / FD -)
DFO Projection:
DK-9 / FD-11.9

There are few players playing as well as Foegele right now, with his 15 5v5 points over the Oilers’ 14-game winning streak the most of any player during that time. Yes, you read that right. In a great matchup for the Oilers as a whole, Foegele stands out as a great value play.

Jack Drury (C, CAR) – vs NJD – ($2,800 / $4,100)
DFO Projection: DK-7.2 / FD-9.8

Elevated up the Hurricanes’ lineup, Drury offers some salary relief on both sites in a solid matchup. The Devils have had their defensive struggles this year, and Drury provides solid value.

Noah Hanifin (D, CGY) vs CBJ ($4,100 / $3,700)
DFO Projection: DK-6.7 / FD-12.1

While Hanifin is cheaper than MacKenzie Weegar and Rasmus Andersson, he provides as strong of point production, even though his peripheral stats aren’t as strong. Still, this is a great matchup tonight against a Blue Jackets team that was throttled Tuesday by the Oilers.

Alexander Romanov (D, NYI) @ NYI ($3,900 / $4,700)
DFO Projection: DK-8.3 / FD-10.5

Romanov’s always been a solid play, but is popping with a strong projection tonight with the Islanders taking on the Montreal Canadiens.

Top Punt Defencemen

  1. Nick Perbix, TBL ($3,100/$3,900): DK-7.1 / FD-9.5
  2. Oliver Kylington, CGY ($2,500/$3,500): DK-5 / FD-6.4
  3. Nils Lundqvist, DAL ($3,000/$4,100): DK-6.3 / FD-8.1
