Leafs win fifth straight, Matthews ties record
Auston Matthews (C) led the Toronto Maple Leafs to a 6-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning with four points (3G / 1A), tying the franchise record for most goals in a season with 54. Matthews has scored a remarkable 47 goals in his last 47 games. Mitch Marner (RW) had three points (1G / 2A) in the win and is on an incredible run of his own with 44 points (13G / 31A) in his last 24 games. The Boston Bruins defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-2 in overtime and are the hottest team in the NHL by a mile since February 19th with a 17-3-1 record. Jake DeBrusk (LW, RW) scored two goals for the Bruins, including the overtime game-winner, to give him goals in five consecutive games (6G / 2A / 8PTS). Going back even further, since being moved up to the top line alongside Patrice Bergeron (C) and Brad Marchand (LW), DeBrusk has scored 19 points (14G / 5A) in his last 21 games. Zach Werenski (D) scored in his return to the lineup for the Blue Jackets and has 18 points (5G / 13A) in his last 19 games.

Thomas and Tarasenko are Dynamic for Blues
Robert Thomas (C, RW) had two primary assists on both goals by Vladimir Tarasenko (RW) as the St. Louis Blues rolled over the Arizona Coyotes with a 5-1 victory. Thomas has 59 points (15G / 44A) in 59 games and is currently on a six-game point streak (3G / 8A / 11PTS). Tarasenko is at a near point-per-game pace with 61 points (25G / 36A) in 62 games. Ville Husso (G) made 21 saves on 22 shots and has won each of his last four starts, compared to Jordan Binnington (G), whose last five starts have resulted in losses (0-3-2). Since Clayton Keller (LW, RW) was injured and ruled out for the remainder of the season last week, the Coyotes have averaged only 1.3 goals per game (1-2-0).

Gaudreau has 15 points (6G / 9A) in his last seven games and is up to 95 points (34G / 61A) on the season, only four points back of his career-high. Adrian Kempe (LW, RW) scored both goals for the Kings to cross the 30-goal milestone for the first time in his career and give him 47 points (31G / 16A) this season. The Kings have lost four of their last seven (3-2-2) and, despite being second in the Pacific Division, only have a four-point lead on the second-Wild-Card Vegas Golden Knights, who have one game in hand.
