Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against is generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.

Casey DeSmith (PIT) — @ OTT (5% Owned)
On a night with very few streaming options, DeSmith seems to be the best option for Fantasy owners that are desperate for a goalie start. The Penguins have struggled lately (1-3-1) but are -194 road favourites against an Ottawa team coming off an impressive 4-3 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes.
DeSmith had a terrible start to the season (0-3-1) with a 4.32 GAA and .867 SV%. Tonight will mark DeSmith’s first start since January 28th and only his fifth since mid-December. DeSmith has been better of late (3-0-1), recording one shutout and posting a 2.61 GAA and .913 SV% during that stretch.
