Caution ⚠️
Connor Hellebuyck (WPG) — @ CGY (98% Owned)
Hellebuyck has been one of the most reliable goalies over the last several seasons in the NHL but, along with the entire Winnipeg Jets team, has been largely inconsistent for the majority of this season. The Jets have lost 10 of their last 15 games (5-7-3), allowing three or more goals in 11 of those games.
The Jets are +186 underdogs against a Calgary team that is on a nine-game winning streak and have outscored their opponents 39-to-14 (4.3 to 1.6 game). The Flames have also not lost at the Scotiabank Saddledome since January 13th (9-0-0), outscoring their opponents 43-to-11 (4.8 to 1.2 per game). Needless to say, the Flames are scoring at will right now and are capable of an offensive outburst on any given night, regardless of where they are playing.
A goalie start can make or break your fantasy matchup on Monday. So even though Hellebuyck has played somewhat better of late, his start tonight against the Flames needs to be approached with extreme caution.
