Columbus Blue Jackets ML +212
I can’t say I’m over-enthusiastic about betting on the Blue Jackets with Michael Hutchinson in net vs. Ilya Sorokin, who has a case for the Vezina Trophy. With that said, Sorokin is not yet confirmed and +212 for the home team seems a lot better if Semyon Varlamov gets the start. They opened as +165 underdogs, so this line as moved a ton throughout the day and the model thinks it’s gone too far.

Buffalo Sabres ML +169
The model doesn’t seem to be a very big fan of the Devils, so the value here is probably less than it’s indicating, but it’s still enough to consider the Sabres as home underdogs. Buffalo has been dreadful lately, losing four in a row while being outscored 24-to-9, making it a good time to bet on them. The market is way down on them right now, so you get plenty of value here. They need a better performance from Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, who is 2-6-2 with an .870 SV% since the start of February.
