The Blue Jackets have lost six of their last seven games and are coming off of an embarrassing loss to the Sabres on Wednesday. Still, the model doesn’t think this game is as lopsided as the market suggests it is. The Blue Jackets are sizeable +215 home underdogs, which offers plenty of value for the model, which has them at +170.

Winnipeg Jets (@ CHI) -132
The Jets are on a back-to-back and are expected to start David Rittich, but -132 seems a little thin vs. the lowly Blackhawks. Chicago has lost 10 of their last 11 and are third-worst in xGF/60 (2.48) this season. Rittich hasn’t been great (.881 SV%) but he’s been good enough to win three of his five starts. On top of that, the Jets are playing some of their best hockey of the season right now. They’re riding a three-game winning streak and have scored five goals in each game. They should be able to provide Rittich with ample goal support.
