There are 14 games on the NHL schedule tonight and the model only likes one. The Arizona Coyotes. We shouldn’t be surprised at this point, but at +139 home underdogs against a Devils team that is giving up 4.04 goals against per game since the beginning of February, it’s easy to see the value.
Adding to the intrigue for the Coyotes this evening is they’ll have two rookies making their NHL debuts. 2018 third-round pick and Boston College standout Jack McBain, who was acquired from Minnesota at the trade deadline. And Nathan Smith, who was also acquired at the deadline and recently signed. Both led their respective programs in scoring this year and should provide some offensive punch to a Coyotes team that has averaged just 1.67 goals per game in their last 12 games.
