Capitals at Flyers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -125 Favorites

The Flyers will be playing on back-to-back nights when they host the Capitals on Wednesday after falling to the Hurricanes 5-4 on Tuesday to close out a six-game road trip. Philadelphia has won three of the last four times the team has played the second game of a back-to-back situation, after losing five in a row under that scenario. Washington will also be playing on back-to-back nights after routing the Ottawa Senators 6-1 on Tuesday. The Capitals have won four of five in this situation and six of eight.

Jets at Maple Leafs | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -185 Favorites

The Maple Leafs close out a three-game homestand when they face the Jets for the second time in four games. Toronto doubled up Winnipeg 6-3 in the most recent meeting last Thursday as a -135 home favorite behind two goals and an assist from William Nylander. However, the Maple Leafs are coming off a 6-4 loss to the Edmonton Oilers as -220 home favorites on Monday that ended their three-game winning streak. The Jets halted their two-game skid that included the last meeting by beating the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 as +120 road underdogs on Monday, with the UNDER cashing for the second time in as many games.

Stars at Kings | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Stars -130 Favorites

The Stars will try to extend their winning streak to five games when they visit the Kings to open a four-game West Coast road trip. Three of the four wins during the current streak for Dallas came at home, where the team has gone 15-6-2 this season compared to just 9-8-2 on the road. The Stars have not played since picking up a 4-1 victory against the Detroit Red Wings last Friday as heavy -330 home favorites. Los Angeles will be wrapping up a four-game homestand here and has gone 1-2 in the first three. The Kings fell 4-2 to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday as -115 home favorites, with the OVER cashing for the second time in three games following a 5-0 UNDER run. Dallas has won four of the past five meetings.
