Maple Leafs at Stars | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Stars -115 Favorites

The Stars will try to sweep a two-game homestand on Wednesday when they host the Maple Leafs. Dallas opened the homestand with a 3-2 overtime win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday as a +115 underdog, with the UNDER cashing for the sixth time in eight games. Meanwhile, Toronto ended a two-game skid with a 5-2 victory against the Nashville Predators on Monday as a -105 road underdog, with the OVER cashing for the sixth time in seven games. The Maple Leafs are also closing out a brief two-game road trip here.

Predators at Capitals | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -165 Favorites

The Predators will go for their eighth straight series win over the Capitals when they meet for the second time this season. Nashville won the first meeting 6-5 as a -140 home favorite back on October 10, with the OVER cashing for the fifth consecutive time in the series. The OVER is also 11-1-1 in the past 13 meetings, which is obviously something totals bettors should consider here. Washington will be going for its fifth victory in a row overall though after beating the Montreal Canadiens 4-2 as a -125 road favorite on Monday without captain Alex Ovechkin, who will return after a one-game suspension for sitting out the NHL All-Star game.

Coyotes at Ducks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Coyotes -125 Favorites

The Coyotes will look to begin another climb toward the top of the Pacific when they visit the Ducks in another divisional matchup. Arizona has dropped five of its last six games since a four-game winning streak put the team into first place briefly. The Coyotes will try to end a two-game losing streak overall and also win for the first time in five away from home in this spot. Anaheim opens a two-game homestand after losing 4-2 to the San Jose Sharks on Monday as a +125 road underdog, and the team has won six of the past eight meetings.

Lightning at Kings | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -220 Favorites

The Lightning hope to rebound from another road loss when they visit the Kings. Tampa Bay has dropped three of four games away from home, the latest being a 3-2 setback in OT at Dallas on Monday as a -135 road favorite. The Lightning have alternated losses and wins now in their last five games since putting together a season-high 10-game winning streak. Los Angeles lost four of five overall prior to the All-Star break, with all of the games coming on the road. The Kings have also lost four of their previous five at home, closing as a dog four times.

Flames at Oilers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Oilers -120 Favorites

Two of the top teams in the Pacific Division will square off in Edmonton when the Oilers host the Flames. Calgary is coming off a 5-4 shootout loss to the St. Louis Blues as a -105 home underdog on Tuesday, the team’s second straight setback and third in four games. The Flames have also dropped three of four when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation and six of eight dating back to March 7 of last year. Edmonton has lost three of the past four meetings in this series and six of the previous eight, including two of three at home. But the Oilers have won their last two games overall along with five of their last six.

Canucks at Sharks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Pick’em -110 Odds

The Pacific Division-leading Canucks hit the road to visit the Sharks as they try to extend their winning streak to four games. Vancouver has won its last three games each by two goals or more, and the team’s past five wins have also been decided by at least two, with the UNDER on a 5-0 run overall. San Jose has dropped three of the past four meetings in the series overall but has gone 8-1 in the previous nine head-to-head matchups at home. The Sharks ended a three-game skid with a 4-2 win over the Ducks on Monday as -145 home favorites.
