Nashville will go for the two-game sweep at Florida in the second game of a back-to-back situation. The Predators topped the Panthers 6-5 in overtime Thursday in a pick’em matchup on a game-winning goal by Filip Forsberg, who also scored their first. The OVER has cashed in three straight games for Nashville overall and improved to 3-0 at home for Florida as well. The Predators ended a two-game losing streak with the victory, but they have dropped three in a row and five of six in the second game of a back-to-back. The Panthers had won their previous two before the loss, and they have won eight of 10 in the back end of consecutive games.

Opening NHL Odds: Bruins -125 Favorites
The winner of Friday’s matchup between Boston and Philadelphia will take sole possession of first place in the East Division. The Bruins have won six of their last seven games following a 4-3 overtime victory against the Flyers as -140 road favorites on Wednesday. Boston rallied from a 3-1 deficit behind two of David Pastrnak’s three goals in the third period, and Patrice Bergeron scored the game-winner in OT as the total went OVER for the third straight game. Philadelphia saw its four-game winning streak come to an end with the loss, and the team has now lost four of the past five meetings since putting together a four-game series winning streak.
Red Wings vs Lightning | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -350 Favorites
Tampa Bay will try to beat Detroit for the 18th time in 19 meetings in the finale of a two-game set. The defending Stanley Cup champion Lightning defeated the Red Wings 5-1 as massive -345 home favorites on Wednesday, jumping out to an early 3-0 lead after the first period and coasting from there. Tampa Bay has won three in a row since losing consecutive games for the only time this season, with the OVER also on a 3-0 run. Meanwhile, Detroit is riding a seven-game losing streak following a 2-2 start and remained winless on the road this year at 0-4-1.
Sharks vs Ducks | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Ducks -118 Favorites
San Jose returns to action for the first time since last Thursday with the first of two road games at Anaheim. The Sharks were scheduled to host the Golden Knights in Arizona earlier this week, but their opponent had to shut down operations briefly due to some positive COVID-19 tests. San Jose was swept in two games by Colorado prior to that, getting outscored by a 10-3 margin. The Ducks have been more active recently, topping the Kings 3-1 as +105 road underdogs on Tuesday to end a three-game skid. Anaheim has lost the past two meetings in this series.
Kings vs Golden Knights | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -222 Favorites
Vegas is back on the ice for the opener of a two-game set versus Los Angeles following more than a week off due to COVID-19 protocols. The Golden Knights had lost two of their last three games before their hiatus after starting the season at 4-0. The OVER is on a 4-1 run for Vegas. The Kings are coming off a 3-1 loss to the Sharks as -125 home favorites on Tuesday, falling for the second straight time after winning their previous two games and three of four. Los Angeles has won the past three meetings though and six of nine in the series since getting swept in the first round of the 2018 NHL playoffs. The OVER is on a 4-1 series run as well.
