Canadiens vs Senators | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Canadiens -208 Favorites

Montreal will try to rebound from a 3-2 loss to Ottawa as a -320 home favorite on Thursday in the second game of a home-and-home series here. The Senators scored three consecutive goals after trailing 1-0, including two in the final minute of the first period en route to snapping a nine-game losing streak as +260 road underdogs. The UNDER has cashed four times in Ottawa’s last five games. The Canadiens had won the previous three meetings and six of seven prior to that setback. The UNDER is also on a 5-0 run in the series between these teams.

Penguins vs Islanders | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Islanders -125 Favorites

Pittsburgh will play its third straight game in New York after splitting a pair of games against the Rangers. The Penguins are playing the fifth game of a seven-game road trip in this spot, and they have lost three of the first four, with the UNDER on a 4-1 run in their last five overall. Meanwhile, the Islanders will be looking to end a five-game losing streak after going 0-3-2 on a recently completed five-game road trip. New York has won its only two home games so far this season and taken the past two meetings with Pittsburgh along with six of the last seven.

Canucks vs Maple Leafs | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -200 Favorites

Toronto routed Vancouver 7-3 as a -165 home favorite on Thursday and will go for two in a row in the second game of this three-game home series. The Maple Leafs got a hat trick from Jason Spezza in the latest meeting as the total went OVER in their fourth straight game overall.  The Canucks will be trying to break out of a three-game skid, and they have seen the OVER cash in their last three as well. Vancouver has now dropped the past three meetings versus Toronto and five of six, with the OVER also surprisingly ending a 7-0 UNDER run in the series.

Sharks vs Ducks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Pick’em -110 Odds

San Jose and Anaheim will battle again on back-to-back nights after a thrilling matchup Friday, with the former winning 5-4 in a shootout as a -105 road underdog. The Sharks got on the board first in the opening period for a 1-0 lead, then the Ducks stormed back and took a 3-1 lead after the second before giving up three straight goals to open the third. The second goal of the game for Anaheim’s Max Comtois eventually sent it to overtime, with both teams failing to score there. San Jose has won the past three meetings in this series along with 11 of 14 dating back to 2018. The OVER has also gone 6-1-1 in the last eight games between the teams.

Oilers vs Flames | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Flames -125 Favorites

Edmonton brings a three-game winning streak into this road meeting with Calgary. The Oilers are opening a four-game road trip against the Flames, and they have gone 2-2 so far in four previous games away from home. Calgary is also 2-2 in four home games after dropping a pair there to Toronto. The Flames just wrapped up a three-game road series with the Jets and lost the last two matchups as favorites after a 4-3 shootout win in the opener as -125 chalk. The UNDER is on a 3-1 run for Calgary overall while the OVER is 5-1 in the last six for Edmonton. The OVER is also 3-0-1 in the past four meetings, with the Flames winning three of them.
