Flyers vs Capitals | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -125 Favorites

Philadelphia will look to break a two-game skid in the opener of a two-game series at Washington. The Flyers were just swept in two games by the Bruins as home underdogs both times, losing each by one goal. The Capitals have also lost two in a row for the second time this season, falling to the Bruins and Rangers by two goals apiece. Washington has lost the past four meetings with Philadelphia as well following a five-game series winning streak. The UNDER has cashed in four of the last six games between them too after a 5-0 OVER run.

Red Wings vs Panthers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Panthers -208 Favorites

Florida will go for its fourth win in five games in the first of two versus Detroit. The Panthers are coming off a 2-1 victory against the Predators as -140 home favorites on Friday, as goaltender Chris Driedger (3-0-1, 1.72 GAA) continued his strong play with 24 saves. Driedger already owns a win over the Red Wings this year, which happened exactly a week ago on the road, although Sergei Bobrovsky (3-0-1, 3.57 GAA) could be back between the pipes for this one despite giving up a season-high six goals in his last start. Detroit is riding an eight-game losing streak, including two losses to Florida as part of an eight-game series skid.

Hurricanes vs Blue Jackets | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -133 Favorites

Carolina will try to bounce back from its first loss in six games in the first of two at Columbus. The Hurricanes fell to the Blackhawks 6-4 as -180 road favorites on Thursday to split a pair in Chicago, with the OVER cashing in their third straight game. Meanwhile, the Blue Jackets are coming off their first win in three games, ending a two-game losing streak with a 4-3 win over the Stars as +110 home underdogs on Thursday. The OVER also cashed in their second consecutive game following a 3-0 UNDER run. Columbus has won the past four meetings with Carolina, with the UNDER on a 12-1-1 series run in the last 14 games between them.

Kings vs Golden Knights | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -208 Favorites

Vegas ended a three-game series losing streak against Los Angeles on Friday and will go for a two-game series sweep in this spot. The Golden Knights routed the Kings 5-2, jumping out to an early 5-0 lead and cruising from there to cash easily as massive -260 home favorites. Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury (4-0, 1.25 GAA) picked up the win in net for Vegas to stay unbeaten, although Robin Lehner (2-1-1, 2.95 GAA) is expected to get the call in the second game. The Golden Knights were playing their first game since January 26 due to COVID-19 protocols. Los Angeles has lost three in a row overall, and the OVER is also on a 5-1 series run in the past six meetings.

Blackhawks vs Stars | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Stars -175 Favorites

Chicago hopes to build on a big victory and win for the third time in four games in the first of two at Dallas. The Blackhawks topped the Hurricanes 6-4 as +160 home underdogs on Thursday behind two third-period goals from Alex DeBrincat, who has four points (two goals and two assists) in two games since returning from the COVID-19 protocol list. The Stars have dropped three of their last four games since a 4-0 start following a 4-3 loss to the Blue Jackets as -130 road favorites on Thursday. The OVER has cashed in three straight for Dallas and two in a row for Chicago overall, but the UNDER is on a 3-0 run in the past three meetings.
