Islanders vs Sabres | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Islanders -150 Favorites

New York will try to pick up its fifth victory in six games on Tuesday in the second game of a back-to-back situation at Buffalo. The Islanders beat the Sabres 3-1 as -125 road favorites on Monday, their fourth consecutive win in the series, with the UNDER cashing for the third time. Buffalo has lost two in a row when playing the second game of a back-to-back and six of nine in that situation while New York has dropped three straight and four of five under that scenario.

Capitals vs Penguins | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -120 Favorites

Washington brings a season-high four-game skid into the finale of a two-game series at Pittsburgh. The Capitals lost 6-3 to the Penguins as +100 underdogs on Sunday, with the OVER improving to 10-3 in their games this season. Pittsburgh won its second in a row overall after dropping four of five, with the OVER cashing for the third straight time and fourth time in five games. The OVER also moved to 7-0 in the past seven meetings, with Pittsburgh winning five.

Devils vs Rangers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Rangers -150 Favorites

New York hopes to end a three-game skid in the finale of a three-game homestand against New Jersey. The Rangers have had trouble scoring goals recently, averaging less than one per game during their losing streak, with the UNDER on a 5-0 run in their past five. Meanwhile, the Devils have not played since January 31 due to COVID-19 protocols, and that is when they topped the Sabres 5-3 as +130 road underdogs. They had lost their previous three games, with the OVER on a 3-1 run in their last four. New Jersey has won four of the past six meetings in this series, including the last two on the road, with the OVER on a 10-1-1 run in the previous 12.

Predators vs Stars | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Stars -143 Favorites

Monday’s matchup between these two teams was postponed because of extreme winter weather, but if they can go Tuesday, then Dallas will look to end a five-game skid against Nashville. The Stars were swept in their second straight series last weekend, getting outscored 9-6 in a pair of losses to the Hurricanes, with the OVER cashing both times. The Predators have not played much better lately, dropping four of their last five after falling 4-2 to the Red Wings as -165 home favorites Saturday. Nashville has also lost seven of the past nine meetings.

Wild vs Kings | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Wild -111 Favorites

Minnesota is back in action for the first time since February 2 for the first of three straight games in Southern California. The Wild have missed the last couple weeks due to COVID-19 protocols, and they will start a three-game road trip here at Los Angeles before visiting Anaheim for a two-game set. The OVER is on a 3-1 run in their last four games. The Kings ended a season-high five-game losing streak with a 6-2 rout of the Sharks as -105 road underdogs last Thursday. The OVER is on a 4-0 run for Los Angeles too and has gone 10-3 overall for the team this year.

Avalanche vs Golden Knights | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -111 Favorites

Vegas will go for a two-game home sweep of Colorado in this spot before the teams meet again Saturday at Lake Tahoe. The Golden Knights edged the Avalanche 1-0 as -105 home underdogs Sunday, with Max Pacioretty scoring the lone goal and netminder Marc-Andre Fleury notching his 63rd career shutout with 30 saves. Fleury has started the last four games for Vegas with Robin Lehner sidelined by an upper-body injury, allowing only two goals combined in his past three outings. Colorado had won four of the previous five meetings in this series, with the OVER going 4-0 in the last four. The UNDER is on a 3-0 run for the Golden Knights overall.
