Panthers vs Hurricanes | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -167 Favorites

Carolina will look to extend its winning streak to four games in the second game of a five-game homestand versus Florida. The Hurricanes have won four consecutive games once previously this season en route to putting together a season-high five-game winning streak between January 18 and February 2. Carolina routed Columbus 7-3 as a -180 home favorite on Monday, with the OVER cashing for the third straight time and seventh time in their last eight games. The Panthers have won three of their last four games overall, with the OVER on a 3-0 run too. But Florida has lost five of the past six meetings in this series, with the UNDER on a 6-3 run.

Senators vs Maple Leafs | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -300 Favorites

After completing a stunning comeback win on Monday, Ottawa will try to pull off their third straight victory as a big underdog again at Toronto. The Senators rallied back from a 5-1 deficit against the North Division-leading Maple Leafs and beat them 6-5 in overtime as +260 underdogs. Ottawa had edged Winnipeg 2-1 as a +180 road underdog on Saturday to end a four-game losing streak and dropped four of the previous five meetings with Toronto prior to the latest upset. The Senators also saw the UNDER go 6-0-1 in their previous seven games overall before that high-scoring affair. The Maple Leafs have lost two games in a row for the first time this season, with the UNDER on a 4-1 run in their last five following a 4-0 OVER run.

Blackhawks vs Red Wings | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blackhawks -130 Favorites

Chicago continued its mastery of Detroit on Monday and will attempt a two-game sweep of the rivalry on the road in this spot. The Blackhawks are coming off a 3-2 victory against the Red Wings in overtime as -120 road favorites and have now won seven of the past eight meetings, including a two-game home sweep earlier this year. The UNDER is on a 4-1 run for Chicago and 5-1 for Detroit, which has also lost three of four overall along with 11 of 13. The UNDER is 4-1 in the past five meetings as well. The Blackhawks are playing their best hockey, going 6-1-1 in their last eight games, with only three of them decided in regulation time during that stretch.

Canucks vs Flames | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Flames -150 Favorites

Calgary finishes a four-game series with Vancouver at home after winning two of the last three on the road. The Flames topped the Canucks 4-3 in overtime as -135 road favorites on Monday, winning for the fourth time in five meetings overall this season. Calgary swept Vancouver in a pair of home games the first week of the year, covering the puckline both times by a combined score of 8-2. Despite a high-scoring matchup in the last meeting, the UNDER is 5-2 in the last seven games for the Flames overall and 4-1 in the past five for the Canucks. With the latest loss, Vancouver’s lone win in its previous eight games came versus Calgary (3-1) on Saturday.

Jets vs Oilers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Oilers -133 Favorites

Winnipeg will go for its 10th victory in 13 meetings with Edmonton here after posting a 6-5 win as a +120 road underdog on Monday. The Jets ended a three-game winning streak for the Oilers, who have only one home victory in this series since 2017. Winnipeg has scored easily against Edmonton as well, averaging 4.75 goals in winning three of the past four meetings, including two on the road. That said, the UNDER is still 4-1-1 in the last six games for the Jets overall and 3-1 in the past four for the Oilers, who scored exactly three goals in each game during their winning streak. In fact, Edmonton has lost its last two that went OVER the total.
