Golden Knights vs Avalanche | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Pick’em -105 Odds
Vegas and Colorado will meet at Lake Tahoe after the teams split a pair of games at T-Mobile Arena earlier in the week. The Avalanche got a game-winning goal from Nazem Kadri with 41 seconds remaining Tuesday to pull off a 3-2 victory as +105 road underdogs following a 1-0 loss as -115 favorites in the previous meeting last Sunday. The UNDER has cashed in their last three games along with the past four for the Golden Knights, who will likely lean on goalie Marc-Andre Fleury yet again in net with Robin Lehner (upper body injury) not making the trip to Tahoe.
Islanders vs Penguins | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -116 Favorites
Pittsburgh beat New York for the third time in 10 meetings on Thursday and will go for a sweep in the finale of a two-game set here. The Penguins defeated the Islanders 4-1 as -115 home favorites in the latest matchup, with the UNDER cashing for the second time in a row following a 3-0 OVER run. New York saw its season-high three-game winning streak come to an end, with the UNDER continuing on a 3-0 run. The OVER had cashed in the previous five meetings.
Maple Leafs vs Canadiens | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -108 Favorites
The two top teams in the North Division will square off for the second time in eight days, as Montreal upset Toronto 2-1 as a +120 road underdog last Saturday. The Maple Leafs had won the previous two meetings earlier this year, including a road matchup 4-2 as -105 road underdogs on February 10. Despite those two recent losses, the Canadiens have still won five of the past seven meetings, with the UNDER on a 3-1 run in the last four games of the series.
Rangers vs Capitals | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -148 Favorites
New York will try to win consecutive games for the first time since February 4 against Washington in the midst of a three-game road trip. The last time the Rangers won two in a row, they beat the Capitals 4-2 as -115 home favorites. New York had lost four straight before edging Philadelphia 3-2 as a -105 road underdog Thursday, with the UNDER on a 6-1 run. Washington is riding a two-game winning streak after beating Buffalo 3-1 as a -160 home favorite, with the UNDER on a 2-0 run.
Kings vs Coyotes | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Coyotes -169 Favorites
Los Angeles takes a three-game winning streak into the finale of a two-game set at Arizona. The Kings beat the Coyotes 3-2 in a shootout as +150 road underdogs on Thursday, with the UNDER cashing in their second straight game. Meanwhile, Arizona has lost three of its last four games, with the total also going UNDER in two straight and three of four. The Coyotes have lost the past two meetings with the Kings now after winning the previous two in the series.
Sharks vs Blues | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Blues -178 Favorites
St. Louis will go for its fourth victory in five games in the finale of a two-game home series with San Jose. The Blues defeated the Sharks 3-2 in overtime as -175 home favorites on Thursday on a David Perron power-play goal, with the UNDER cashing for the second straight time and third in four games. San Jose has headed in the opposite direction, dropping three of its last four, although the UNDER has similarly gone 3-0 in its last three. The Sharks have lost seven of the past eight meetings with the Blues, with the UNDER going 12-6-1 in the last 19.
Flames vs Oilers | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Oilers -117 Favorites
Edmonton defeated Calgary for just the second time in six meetings on Friday and will attempt to sweep the home-and-home series in this spot while playing on back-to-back nights. The Oilers knocked off the Flames 2-1 in the latest meeting that closed as a Pick’em, as they won for the fifth time in six games overall and saw the UNDER cash for the fifth time in their last sixth as well. Edmonton has won seven of eight when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation compared to Calgary, which has won five of six under the exact same scenario.
Lightning vs Hurricanes | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -120 Favorites
Tampa Bay has lost two of its last three going into the opener of a four-game home-and-home series versus Carolina, with the lead in the Central Division potentially on the line. The Lightning trail the Panthers by three points for the lead in the Central, but they have played one less game. The Hurricanes have also played one more and sit one point behind the division leaders after beating the Blackhawks 5-3 as -175 home favorites on Friday for their fourth victory in five games. Carolina has won three of the past four meetings, with the UNDER on a 3-0 run.
