Flames vs Maple Leafs | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -150 Favorites

Toronto will try to beat Calgary for the third time this season in the opener of a two-game home series Monday. The Maple Leafs are already a perfect two-for-two against the Flames this year by virtue of a two-game road sweep on January 24 and 26, winning both games by one goal after closing as a favorite each time. Toronto enters this series on a three-game winning streak overall while Calgary is riding a three-game skid. The UNDER is 7-2-1 in the past 10 meetings.

Lightning vs Hurricanes | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -125 Favorites

Tampa Bay hopes to rebound at Carolina in the second game of a four-game home-and-home series. The Lightning lost the series opener 4-0 as -160 road favorites to the Hurricanes on Saturday, just the second time they failed to register a goal this season. The only other time for Tampa Bay was also at Carolina, a 1-0 defeat as a -150 road favorite on January 28.  The Lightning have now lost three of their last four games while the Hurricanes have won five of six.

Kings vs Blues | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blues -179 Favorites

Los Angeles brings a season-high four-game winning streak to St. Louis for the first of two road games. The red-hot Kings are coming off a two-game sweep of the Coyotes, outscoring them 7-4 after winning their previous two games by a 10-2 margin at home. The Blues have dropped two of their last three games overall following a 5-4 setback to the Sharks as -180 home favorites on Saturday. But St. Louis has won four of the past five meetings with Los Angeles.

Golden Knights vs Avalanche | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -116 Favorites

Vegas will attempt to salvage a four-game split with Colorado after losing two of the last three meetings since winning the series opener. The Golden Knights started this four-game series atop the West Division, but consecutive 3-2 losses to the Avalanche – including the last one after a long delay at Lake Tahoe on Saturday – have dropped them one point behind the Blues in the standings. The UNDER is on a 5-0 run for Vegas overall and a 4-0 run for Colorado.

Ducks vs Coyotes | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Coyotes -143 Favorites

Anaheim is looking to end a three-game losing streak in the first of two games at Arizona. The Ducks were just swept in two games at home by the Wild, who defeated them by two goals or more each time. The Coyotes were also swept in two games at home by the Kings, and they have dropped four of their last five as well since a three-game winning streak. However, Arizona has won four of the past five home meetings versus Anaheim, with the OVER going 3-1-1.

Stars vs Panthers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Panthers -124 Favorites

Dallas finally resumes play again following another round of postponements, visiting Florida here to open a five-game road trip throughout the state. The Stars had weather wreak havoc close to home last week, preventing them from trying to halt their season-high five-game skid. Meanwhile, the Panthers saw their three-game winning streak come to an end with a 2-1 loss to the Red Wings as -175 home favorites Saturday, with the UNDER stopping a 5-0 OVER run.

Sabres vs Islanders | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Islanders -155 Favorites

New York meets Buffalo for the third time in five games and looks to duplicate recent success from a two-game road sweep a week ago. The Islanders outscored the Sabres 6-1 in the pair after closing as road favorites in each game, with the UNDER going 2-0. The UNDER is actually on a longer 4-0 run for New York after the team was outscored 7-3 in losing two games at Pittsburgh over the weekend. Buffalo ended a four-game skid with a 3-2 victory at New Jersey as a +115 road underdog on Saturday, with the UNDER improving to 4-0 in the team’s last four.

Wild vs Sharks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Wild -118 Favorites

Minnesota continues a six-game road trip with the fourth stop and fifth game coming at San Jose. The Wild just completed a two-game sweep of the Ducks to bounce back from losses to the Avalanche and Kings in the first two games of the trip, with the UNDER on a 3-1 run. The Sharks return to the SAP Center for the opener of an eight-game homestand after earning a two-game road split with the Blues. The UNDER is also on a 3-1 run in San Jose’s last four games overall and in this series, as they have won six of the past eight against Minnesota.
