Flames vs Maple Leafs | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -143 Favorites
Calgary ended a three-game losing streak with a 3-0 win at Toronto as a +125 road underdog on Monday and will go for a two-game sweep of the series on Wednesday. The Maple Leafs had won three in a row overall heading into that matchup along with taking the two previous meetings with the Flames this season. But Calgary saw goaltender David Rittich come through with a 34-save shutout, his first of the year and fourth in his career, while Matthew Tkachuk and Sean Monahan scored power-play goals. The UNDER moved to 8-2-1 in the past 11 meetings.
Rangers vs Flyers | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Flyers -130 Favorites
New York will go for its longest winning streak of the season in the finale of a three-game road trip at Philadelphia. The Rangers have won the first two games of their trip, beating the Flyers 3-2 and Capitals 4-1 as small road underdogs each time, with the UNDER cashing in both. The UNDER is 7-1 in New York’s last eight games overall and 10-2 in its past 12. Philadelphia has lost two in a row and four of five, but the team had won nine of the previous 10 meetings.
Ducks vs Coyotes | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Coyotes -153 Favorites
Anaheim will try to end a four-game skid in the second of two games at Arizona. The Ducks are coming off a 4-3 loss to the Coyotes as +140 road underdogs in the first game Monday, with the OVER cashing in their second straight after a 3-0 UNDER run. Arizona rallied back from a 3-0 deficit behind two goals from Christian Dvorak (one shorthanded and one on the power play), and the team has now won five of the past six home meetings against Anaheim, with the OVER going 4-1-1. Ducks goalie John Gibson has given up nine goals in his last two starts.
Kings vs Blues | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Blues -180 Favorites
Los Angeles is riding a season-high five-game winning streak into the second of two consecutive road games at St. Louis. The Kings blanked the Blues 3-0 as +165 road underdogs Monday thanks to a 30-save shutout from goalie Jonathan Quick, the 54th of his career. Dustin Brown powered the Los Angeles offense with two goals. St. Louis had won four of the previous five meetings, and the team has lost two straight and three of four overall.
Hurricanes vs Lightning | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -143 Favorites
Tampa Bay is back home for the first of two games against Carolina after splitting a pair there. The Lightning bounced back from a 4-0 loss to the Hurricanes as -160 road favorites in the series opener on Saturday by doubling them up 4-2 as -130 chalk on Monday. Tampa Bay had lost three of four prior to that victory while Carolina won five of six before the defeat. Despite a push, the OVER is still 5-1-1 in the last seven for the Hurricanes and 9-2-1 in the previous 12.
Stars vs Panthers | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Panthers -125 Favorites
Dallas saw its losing streak extended to six games on Monday and will attempt to bust its slump yet again in the second of two games at Florida. Four of the previous five losses for the Stars were decided by just one goal, but they fell 3-1 to the Panthers as +105 road underdogs in their latest setback. Florida has gone in the other direction, winning four of five to move atop the Central Division. The Panthers lead the Hurricanes by one point and Lightning by three.
Wild vs Avalanche | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -182 Favorites
Minnesota closes out a six-game road trip where it started at Colorado. The Wild lost the opener of the trip 2-1 to the Avalanche as +135 road underdogs on February 2 before both teams took a break due to COVID-19 protocols. Minnesota has won three of four since then, riding a three-game winning streak into Ball Arena for the rematch as favorites each time. The Wild have lost two of their three games as underdogs this year, with all of them coming versus this opponent. Colorado is coming off a four-game split against Vegas, with the UNDER on a 5-0 run.
