Chicago finishes a five-game road trip on Thursday with the second of two games at Columbus. The Blackhawks are coming off a 6-5 shootout victory against the Blue Jackets as +100 road underdogs on Tuesday, as Alex DeBrincat tallied the game-winner with the OVER cashing for the second time in the last three meetings. Columbus has now lost two straight overall and four of five, with the OVER on a 3-1 run, while Chicago has won four of five and seven of nine.

Opening NHL Odds: Panthers -125 Favorites

Dallas finally ended its skid at six games Wednesday and will attempt to win consecutive games for the first time since January 28 in the finale of a three-game set at Florida. The Stars blanked the Panthers 3-0 as +120 road underdogs, with the UNDER cashing for the second time in as many games. Florida had won four of its previous five and six of eight prior to that setback, with the UNDER on a 3-0 run now. The Panthers have dropped four of the past six meetings.

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -141 Favorites

Tampa Bay wraps up a four-game series with Carolina after taking the past two meetings by a combined score of 7-2. The Lightning are coming off a 3-0 victory against the Hurricanes on Wednesday as -160 home favorites and will be playing the second game of a back-to-back situation here. Tampa Bay has split its last four when playing the second game of a back-to-back after winning six of seven under the scenario while Carolina has won seven of nine.

Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -119 Favorites

Washington hopes to bounce back from a 3-2 overtime loss to Pittsburgh in a pick’em matchup on Tuesday in the second of two consecutive home meetings. The Capitals have dropped four of the past five meetings with the Penguins and seven of the last 10, and the UNDER has cashed in the previous two games between them. Pittsburgh got the latest game-winning goal from Kasperi Kapanen in OT to earn its third consecutive victory, with the UNDER on a 4-0 run.

Opening NHL Odds: Flames -168 Favorites

Calgary starts a four-game series with Ottawa following a two-game split against Toronto on the road. The Flames fell 2-1 to the Maple Leafs in overtime as +125 road underdogs on Wednesday after upsetting them 3-0 also as +125 dogs on Monday, with the UNDER cashing both times. The Senators are riding their second two-game winning streak of the year, beating the Canadiens twice earlier this week to prompt the firing of their head coach. Ottawa has lost four of the past five meetings with Calgary, and the UNDER is also on a 4-1 series run.

Opening NHL Odds: Bruins -123 Favorites

Boston begins another three-game trek through New York following a 7-3 rout of Philadelphia as a -180 favorite at Lake Tahoe on Sunday. The Bruins won two of three during their previous trip through the Big Apple two weeks ago, beating the Rangers twice before falling to the Islanders 4-2 as -135 road favorites on February 13. The Islanders have won three of five since then, defeating the Sabres as favorites each time, with the UNDER on a 4-0-1 during that span.

Canadiens vs Jets | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Canadiens -118 Favorites

Montreal will look to move on without head coach Claude Julien in the first of two road games at Winnipeg. Julien was fired on Wednesday after the Canadiens lost to the Senators for the second consecutive game in extra time as a heavy favorite of -220 or higher. Overall, Montreal has dropped three of the first four meetings with Ottawa. Meanwhile, the Jets are coming off a two-game road sweep of the Canucks as underdogs each time. Winnipeg has lost three of the past four meetings in this series, with the OVER on a 4-2 run in the last six.

Oilers vs Canucks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Oilers -125 Favorites

Edmonton has put together its first four-game winning streak of the season and will try to extend it to five in the second of two games at Vancouver. The Oilers rallied back from a 3-0 deficit to stun the Canucks as -135 road favorites on Tuesday, beating them for the second straight time and first since January 14. The OVER has cashed in all three meetings so far this year as well thanks to the comeback, which started at the end of the second period with the first of two goals from Dominik Kahun, who also scored within the first minute of the third to cut the deficit to one. Vancouver has lost three in a row and 10 of 12, with the OVER on a 3-1-1 run in its last five.
