Sabres vs Islanders | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Islanders -188 Favorites

Buffalo will attempt to end a season-high six-game losing streak in the finale of a three-game road series at New York. The Sabres have lost each of the first two games of this series by identical 5-2 scores, with the OVER cashing both times. The difference this time is that they will be playing the second game of a back-to-back, and Buffalo has won four of six in this situation. New York has dropped three of four under this scenario but has won four games in a row overall.

Lightning vs Blackhawks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -200 Favorites

A three-game series between Tampa Bay and Chicago will end here at the United Center. After the Lightning won the series opener 3-2 in overtime as -220 road favorites on Thursday, the Blackhawks bounced back with a 4-3 victory in a shootout as +170 home underdogs on Friday. Tampa Bay saw its season-high six-game winning streak end with that loss, but the team has still won 11 of the past 13 meetings in the series dating back to 2016.

Panthers vs Hurricanes | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -138 Favorites

Carolina continues a four-game homestand on a four-game winning streak when the team welcomes Florida to town. The Hurricanes routed the Red Wings 5-2 as -300 home favorites on Thursday, with the OVER cashing for the third time in their last four games. Meanwhile, the Panthers have won two in a row following a two-game skid, with the OVER on a 2-0 run. Florida has lost the past two meetings with Carolina along with seven of the last nine and 10 of 13.

Devils vs Bruins | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Bruins -208 Favorites

Boston wraps up a three-game homestand with the finale against New Jersey after splitting a pair versus Washington. The Bruins blew out the Capitals 5-1 as -135 home favorites on Friday, with the UNDER moving to 2-0-1 in their last three games. However, they have not won consecutive games since putting together a five-game winning streak between February 1 and 12. The Devils have lost a season-high five in a row, with three decided by three goals or more.

Capitals vs Flyers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Flyers -143 Favorites

Washington finishes a five-game road trip at Philadelphia and will do it without enforcer Tom Wilson, who was suspended seven games for a vicious hit against Boston’s Brandon Carlo in a 5-1 loss on Friday. The Capitals fell as +115 road underdogs after winning the opener versus the Bruins 2-1 in a shootout as +130 dogs Wednesday. The Flyers just dropped two of three to the Penguins on the road, with the OVER cashing each time, after a three-game winning streak.

Rangers vs Penguins | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -133 Favorites

New York brings a season-high three-game winning streak to Pittsburgh for the first of two. The Rangers have been able to catch fire without Artemi Panarin, who is now listed as day-to-day after taking a leave from the team. The Penguins won two of their last three games against the Flyers, with the OVER going 3-0, but they have not won consecutive games since a three-game winning streak between February 18 and 23.

Predators vs Stars | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Stars -130 Favorites

Dallas ended its four-game skid in a big way on Saturday and will go for back-to-back wins against Nashville. The Stars blanked the Blue Jackets 5-0 as -135 home favorites, with the total pushing after the UNDER cashed in their previous six games. However, Dallas has dropped two in a row and five of six when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation. The Predators have lost the past two meetings with the Stars though along with seven of nine. Nashville will try to break a three-game losing streak in this spot, with the OVER on a 3-0 run.

Senators vs Flames | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Flames -208 Favorites

Ottawa will play Calgary for the fifth time in six games and hopes to break a two-game skid. The Senators have actually split the past four meetings with the Flames, although they lost the last one badly 7-3 as +160 road underdogs on Thursday. The OVER is 3-0-1 in the previous four games between the teams this season. Calgary will be playing the second game of a back-to-back situation, and the team has lost three in a row under that scenario, with the OVER on a 2-0 run. The Flames are coming off a 3-2 loss to the Oilers as +105 road underdogs Saturday.
