Coyotes vs Wild | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Wild -173 Favorites

Minnesota continues a five-game homestand with the first of three against Arizona. The Wild are coming off a two-game sweep of the Golden Knights following a 4-3 victory as -105 home underdogs on Wednesday, with the OVER cashing for the sixth time in their last seven games. The Coyotes just split a two-game road series with the Avalanche, with the UNDER going 2-0. These teams each won a game at Arizona a week ago, with the OVER going 2-0. Minnesota lost the last meeting 5-1 as a -145 road favorite on Saturday after winning the previous four games in the series. The OVER is 3-0 in the past three meetings and 5-2 in the last seven.

Golden Knights vs Blues | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -131 Favorites

Vegas will try to avoid a season-high three-game losing streak in the first of two games at St. Louis. The Golden Knights will again be without former Blues captain Alex Pietrangelo, as he was sent home from their season-long six-game road trip due to an upper-body injury. Without the star defenseman in their lineup, Vegas got a hat trick from rookie defenseman Dylan Coghlan in a 4-3 loss to the Wild as -115 road favorites Wednesday. Vegas also saw goalie Marc-Andre Fleury go on the COVID protocol list on Thursday. St. Louis upset Vegas 5-4 in a shootout as a +130 road underdog on January 26 before the rematch was postponed due to COVID-19, and the team will also be looking to break a two-game skid. The OVER is 5-0 in the past five meetings, with the last four resulting in nine goals or more.

Senators vs Oilers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Oilers -215 Favorites

Edmonton will look for a three-game home sweep of Ottawa and try to improve to 7-0 in the series this season. The Oilers routed the Senators 7-1 as hefty -230 favorites on Wednesday, which was also their third victory in a row overall following a three-game losing streak. Ottawa also lost the series opener 3-2 as a +205 underdog on Monday, and the team has dropped four of five now after winning four of five. The OVER is on a 3-1 run for the Senators overall too, but the UNDER had cashed in each of the previous four meetings, with two decided by one goal.

Kings vs Avalanche | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -221 Favorites

Colorado will go for back-to-back wins in the opener of its first home series with Los Angeles this year. The Avalanche split a pair with the Kings at Staples Center on January 19 and 21, winning the first game 3-2 as a -250 road favorite before losing the second 4-2 as -230 chalk. Colorado is coming off a 2-1 overtime win against Arizona as a -220 home favorite on Wednesday to halt a two-game skid. After losing five of six, Los Angeles blew out Anaheim 5-1 as a -120 road favorite Wednesday as well, with the OVER moving to 3-0 in its last three games.

Sharks vs Ducks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Ducks -107 Favorites

The two worst teams in the West Division will square off as Anaheim hosts San Jose in the first of two games. The Ducks saw their two-game winning streak come to an end with a 5-1 loss to the Kings as +100 home underdogs on Wednesday, with the OVER improving to 3-0 in their last three games. Anaheim has now lost 10 of 12 and has not won more than two consecutive games so far in 2021. The Sharks have not been much better this season, but they did upset the Blues 3-2 in overtime as +145 home dogs on Monday. San Jose had lost three in a row and five of six prior to that win. The Sharks have also won four of the past five meetings with the Ducks, including a 3-2 victory in a pick’em matchup back on February 15.
