Bruins vs Penguins | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -110 Favorites
Pittsburgh will try to extend its season-high winning streak to seven games after routing Boston 4-1 as a +100 home underdog on Monday. The Penguins had dropped four of the previous five meetings with the Bruins, who have lost two straight and four of five, with the UNDER on a 7-0-1 run. Boston has scored only three goals combined in its last five losses and 20 in its past four wins. Pittsburgh has limited the opposition to two goals or less in its previous five as well.
Sabres vs Devils | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Devils -124 Favorites
Buffalo brings a season-long 11-game skid to New Jersey after getting blanked 9-0 in its last two games. The Sabres are coming off a 6-0 loss to the Capitals as +180 home underdogs on Monday, two days after the Penguins beat them 3-0 as +190 dogs. Meanwhile, the Devils have not been much better, dropping four in a row, nine of 10 and 12 of 14. Buffalo will be playing the second game of a back-to-back here and has lost three of four in that situation. But the Sabres have won five of the past seven meetings in this series, with the OVER on a 5-2 run.
Islanders vs Capitals | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -119 Favorites
New York closes out a three-game road trip at Washington and will attempt to extend its season-high nine-game winning streak to 10 in this spot. The Islanders have seen three of their last four wins decided by only one goal after a 3-2 victory against the Devils in a shootout as -180 favorites on Sunday. The Capitals have won five straight and nine of 10 following a 6-0 rout of the Sabres as -220 road favorites on Monday, with the OVER on a 3-0-1 run. Washington will be playing in the second game of a back-to-back and has won two in a row under that scenario.
Hurricanes vs Red Wings | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -218 Favorites
Carolina brings a season-high eight-game winning streak into the finale of a two-game set at Detroit. The Hurricanes are coming off a 2-1 win over the Red Wings as -220 road favorites on Sunday, their fourth one-goal victory during the winning streak. Detroit has lost five of its last six overall now since winning consecutive games for the first time this season, with the UNDER ending a 3-0 OVER run. Carolina has won the past two meetings and six of the last seven.
Coyotes vs Wild | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Wild -185 Favorites
Minnesota will go for a three-game sweep of Arizona and try to extend its winning streak to five in the finale of a five-game homestand. The Wild have won the first two games of this series against the Coyotes by a combined score of 8-1, and they have outscored their opponents 14-4 during their homestand so far, with the UNDER going 3-1. Arizona is riding a three-game skid after a 4-1 loss at Minnesota as a +165 road underdog Sunday, with the UNDER on a 4-0 run.
Lightning vs Stars | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -153 Favorites
Tampa Bay is playing the second game of a back-to-back situation at Dallas after losing 4-1 to Nashville as a huge -320 home favorite Monday. The Lightning were flat in an early start, giving up the first three goals of the game before Steven Stamkos got them on the board halfway through the third period with his 13th of the season. However, the Stars have yet to tally a goal against them so far this year, getting outscored 7-0 in the first two meetings since they faced off in the 2020 Stanley Cup Final. The UNDER is also on a 3-0 series run, but the OVER has gone 4-0-1 the last five times Tampa Bay has played the second game of a back-to-back.
Ducks vs Avalanche | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -269 Favorites
Anaheim hopes to end a three-game losing streak at Colorado after getting swept at home by San Jose over the weekend. The Ducks actually upset the Avalanche 5-4 in overtime as +180 road underdogs in their last meeting at Ball Arena on March 6, with the OVER cashing easily to start a current 4-1 run. Colorado has gone 3-1 since then, with the UNDER on a 4-0 run. But the Avalanche have alternated losses and wins in the past seven meetings with the Ducks.
