Devils vs Penguins | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -219 Favorites
Pittsburgh will try to take two of three from New Jersey in the finale of a three-game series on Sunday. The Penguins and Devils have split each of the first two games, with the former winning the latest meeting 3-1 as -165 road favorites on Saturday after losing the opener 3-2 as identical chalk on Thursday. The difference this time around is that Pittsburgh will be hosting the third game after playing the first two on the road, and the team has gone 12-3 at home so far this season. New Jersey has surprisingly played better away from home though with a 6-3-2 mark. The UNDER is on a 5-0 run for both the Penguins and Devils overall in their last five games.
Panthers vs Lightning | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -148 Favorites
Tampa Bay will go for its fourth consecutive victory against Florida to wrap up a three-game homestand. The Lightning are coming off a two-game sweep of the Blackhawks at home, winning both by a combined score of 8-3 and covering the puckline each time. Meanwhile, the Panthers just split a pair of games versus the Predators following a 2-0 victory as -200 home favorites on Saturday. Florida has now won five of its last six games along with two of the three meetings with Tampa Bay this year. Prior to 2021, the Lightning had won nine of the previous nine games between the teams. The OVER is on a 4-0 series run, also cashing in nine of 10.
Golden Knights vs Kings | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -173 Favorites
Vegas will attempt to equal its longest winning streak of the season at six in the second of two games at Los Angeles. The Golden Knights improved to 3-0 versus the Kings this year with a 4-2 win as -160 road favorites on Friday, with goaltender Robin Lehner getting the call between the pipes and earning his first victory since February 7. Lehner’s previous start and win also came against Los Angeles, although Marc-Andre Fleury is expected to be back in net for the series finale. The OVER is 4-1-1 in the last six games for Vegas overall and 7-1 in the past eight meetings between these teams. The Kings have lost three of four overall and eight of 11.
Predators vs Stars | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Stars -170 Favorites
Dallas will look to win consecutive games for the first time since January 28 in the second game of a back-to-back situation against Nashville. The Stars are coming off a 3-0 win over the Red Wings as -200 road favorites on Saturday, with the UNDER improving to 3-1 in their last four. Dallas opened the campaign with a four-game winning streak and has not won two in a row since then, and the team has also lost three of four and six of eight when playing the second game of a back-to-back. The Predators will be playing back-to-back days as well after getting blanked 2-0 by the Panthers as +170 road underdogs on Saturday, with the UNDER on a 3-0 run in their past three. Nashville has won two straight in the second game of a back-to-back.
