Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -170 Favorites
Washington hopes to bounce back from a brutal loss and end a two-game skid at New Jersey. The Capitals are coming off an 8-4 loss to the Islanders as +100 underdogs Thursday in the second game of a five-game road trip through New York and New Jersey. The OVER is 3-0 in Washington’s last three games. The Devils have dropped three of four after a 5-4 shootout loss to the Bruins as +175 road underdogs Tuesday. They had won four of five prior to that.

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -138 Favorites
The two top teams in the North Division will square off again when Winnipeg hosts Toronto in the finale of a two-game series. The Jets currently trail the Maple Leafs by three points for the division lead, but they have also played an extra game so far. Winnipeg has lost two of three since putting together a three-game winning streak following a 3-1 loss to Toronto as a +120 home underdog on Wednesday. The Maple Leafs have won three of the first five meetings.

Opening NHL Odds: Oilers -133 Favorites
Edmonton heads home briefly to host Calgary in between six road games. The Oilers have lost two of the first three away from home after getting blanked 4-0 by the Canadiens as -105 underdogs on Tuesday, with the UNDER moving to 3-1-1 in their last five games overall. The Flames are coming off a 5-1 loss to the Jets in a pick’em matchup Monday, which is also their fifth defeat in six games. Calgary has gone 7-11-2 on the road while Edmonton is 12-8 at home.
Blues vs Avalanche | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -210 Favorites
Colorado looks to stay atop the West Division with another victory in the first of two games versus St. Louis. The Avalanche jumped ahead of the Golden Knights in the division standings briefly on Wednesday with a 9-3 rout of the Coyotes as -340 home favorites. Vegas lost the same day but picked up a point in a shootout loss to Minnesota on Thursday to move back into a tie for first. The OVER is on an 8-1 run for Colorado. The Blues are riding a four-game losing streak after getting swept in two games by the Ducks at home, with the UNDER on a 3-0 run.
Sharks vs Kings | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Kings -120 Favorites
San Jose will attempt to win three consecutive games for only the second time this year in the first of two road games at Los Angeles. The Sharks are coming off a two-game sweep of the Wild at home, where they have won four in a row. San Jose has lost four straight on the road. The Kings halted a three-game skid with a 4-2 upset victory against the Golden Knights as +180 road underdogs on Wednesday. Los Angeles has won three of its last four home games but has lost three of the four meetings versus San Jose this season, with the OVER going 3-1.
Coyotes vs Ducks | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Coyotes -130 Favorites
Arizona continues a season-high eight-game road trip with the first of two at Anaheim. The Coyotes began the trip with a 9-3 loss to the Avalanche as +280 underdogs on Wednesday, with the OVER cashing for the fifth time in six games. The Ducks also lost to the same opponent in their most recent matchup to end a two-game winning streak. Anaheim fell 5-2 at Colorado as a +350 road underdog on Monday, with the OVER stopping a 4-0 UNDER run in the team’s previous four games. The Coyotes have won four of the six meetings with the Ducks in 2021.
