Florida brings a four-game winning streak into the opener of a two-game set against Columbus. The Panthers are coming off a two-game sweep of the Red Wings on Tuesday and Thursday, with the UNDER cashing twice as part of a 3-0 run. The UNDER is also 5-1 in Florida’s last six and 7-2 in its past nine. The Blue Jackets have gone the other direction, dropping five of their previous six games following a 3-2 loss to the Lightning as +230 road underdogs Thursday. The UNDER is on a 4-0 run for Columbus, cashing in eight of nine.
Senators vs Canadiens | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Canadiens -225 Favorites
Montreal is heating up again, winning three in a row for the first time since January 28 as the team prepares to host Ottawa to finish up a home-and-home series. The Canadiens won the opener 4-1 as -180 road favorites on Thursday, with the UNDER cashing for the third time in their last four games. The Senators had won three of the previous five meetings this season and saw the UNDER continue on a 6-0 run, scoring two goals or less five times over that span.
Flyers vs Islanders | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Islanders -150 Favorites
Philadelphia continues a four-game road trip at New York before heading to Boston for the finale. The Flyers are coming off a 6-1 loss to the Sabres as -200 road favorites Wednesday, with their opponent snapping an 18-game losing streak. Philadelphia has seen the OVER go 4-1 in its last five and 11-2 in its previous 13. The Islanders beat the Flyers 2-1 as -120 road favorites to open a recently completed road trip, and they doubled up the Capitals 8-4 as -120 chalk to start a six-game homestand Thursday. The OVER is 3-1 in New York’s past four games.
Rangers vs Sabres | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Rangers -180 Favorites
New York will go for its fifth consecutive win over Buffalo in the finale of a two-game road series. After losing the first meeting this year on January 26, the Rangers have won each of the past four, including a 3-2 overtime victory on Thursday as -280 road favorites. The Sabres fell short of winning two in a row for the first time since January 26 as well, and they have now lost 19 of their last 20 games going back to February 25. The UNDER is 4-1 in the past five meetings.
Stars vs Hurricanes | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -150 Favorites
Dallas hopes to build on its first win in four games in the first of two at Carolina. The Stars have split the first two games of their six-game road trip after defeating the Predators 4-1 as -125 road favorites on Thursday, with the UNDER on a 2-0-1 run. Meanwhile, the Hurricanes begin a four-game homestand here after playing four of five on the road. Carolina has won four of its last five following a 4-3 victory at Chicago as a -160 road favorite, with the OVER on a 3-1 run.
Blues vs Avalanche | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -200 Favorites
Colorado will try to extend its winning streak to four games in the second of back-to-back games against St. Louis. The Avalanche edged the Blues 3-2 as -220 home favorites in the opener of their two-game series on Friday, but they have lost two of three and four of seven when playing the second game of a back-to-back. St. Louis has also lost two of three in this back-to-back situation, although the team had won four in a row under this scenario prior to that. The Blues are mired in a five-game slump following their latest loss, with the UNDER on a 4-0 run.
Wild vs Golden Knights | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -165 Favorites
Vegas looks to avoid its first three-game skid of the season in the finale of a four-game homestand versus Minnesota. The Golden Knights fell 3-2 to the Wild in a shootout as -160 favorites on Thursday one night after losing to the Kings 4-2 as -220 chalk. Vegas still earned a point though to move into a tie with Colorado atop the West Division. Minnesota is just four points behind both teams in the standings and has won the past three meetings in this series.
Sharks vs Kings | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Kings -120 Favorites
San Jose is riding a three-game winning streak for the first time this season going into the finale of a two-game road set at Los Angeles. The Sharks blanked the Kings 3-0 as +105 underdogs in the opener Friday, also beating them for the third straight time. Los Angeles has lost four of its last five overall after getting shut out, and the team has lost two in a row when playing the second game of a back-to-back. San Jose has dropped four of five in the same exact situation.
