Oilers vs Canadiens | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Canadiens -130 Favorites

Edmonton opens a three-game road trip at Montreal after visiting the Bell Centre last Tuesday. The previous meeting was a make-up game, and the Oilers lost that matchup 4-0 as -105 road underdogs. Edmonton did rebound with a 3-2 win over Calgary as a -150 home favorite Friday, with the UNDER continuing on a 3-0 run. The Canadiens saw their three-game winning streak end with a 6-3 loss to the Senators as -235 home favorites Saturday, with the OVER cashing for the first time in three games. Montreal has won three of the four meetings so far this year.

Flyers vs Bruins | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Bruins -173 Favorites

Boston wraps up a season-high seven-game homestand versus Philadelphia. The Bruins have alternated losses and wins in the first six games, pulling off a 7-5 victory against the Penguins as -115 favorites on Saturday behind a hat trick from Brad Marchand. The last time Boston won two in a row was March 18 at Buffalo. The Flyers have lost two straight and six of eight following a 3-2 shootout loss to the Islanders as +150 road underdogs on Saturday. Philadelphia has dropped each of the first five meetings in 2021, with the OVER going 4-1 in this series.

Senators vs Jets | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Jets -208 Favorites

Ottawa finishes a quick two-game road trip at Winnipeg. The Senators upset the Canadiens 6-3 as +195 road underdogs on Saturday to end a two-game skid and earn their first victory away from home since March 7. The OVER cashed easily to stop a 6-0 UNDER run for Ottawa. The Jets have lost two in a row after the Maple Leafs swept them at home by a combined score of 5-2, with the UNDER going 2-0. But Winnipeg has won four of the five meetings this season.

Avalanche vs Wild | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -165 Favorites

Minnesota hosts Colorado in a key two-game home series, hoping to inch closer to first place in the West Division. The Avalanche currently lead the Wild by six points atop the West, but they have also played one extra game. Minnesota brings an 11-game home winning streak into this matchup though, and the team is also coming off a two-game road sweep of Vegas. Colorado has won four games in a row overall along with four of the six meetings this season.

Golden Knights vs Blues | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -120 Favorites

Vegas visits St. Louis looking to end a season-high three-game losing streak. The Golden Knights were just swept at home by the Wild, and they fell to the Kings at T-Mobile Arena prior to that as big favorites each time. However, they have won the past three meetings with the Blues, including two at the Enterprise Center. St. Louis has not played well there this year with a disappointing 4-8-4 record, and the team is also riding a season-high six-game skid overall.

Maple Leafs vs Flames | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -143 Favorites

Toronto closes out a four-game road trip with the finale of a two-game set at Calgary. The Maple Leafs won the series opener 4-2 over the Flames as -155 favorites on Sunday for their third consecutive victory. However, Toronto has lost two in a row when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation. Calgary has been even worse recently under this scenario though, dropping four straight when playing back-to-back. The Flames will also be looking to halt a three-game losing streak overall, and they have picked up only one win in their last eight games.

Coyotes vs Kings | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Kings -109 Favorites

Los Angeles hopes to get back on track in the first of two home games against Arizona. The Kings were just swept by the Sharks at home in two games, and they have dropped five of their last six overall as well. The UNDER is 3-1 in the past four games for Los Angeles and 8-3 in the team’s previous 11. The Coyotes are coming off a two-game road sweep of the Ducks after beating them 3-2 in overtime as -140 favorites on Sunday. Arizona has also won five of its last six games, with the OVER on a 6-2 run despite the UNDER cashing in the most recent one.
