New York will try to bounce back from its first loss in three games in the first of two against Pittsburgh. The Rangers split a pair with the Sabres last Thursday and Saturday, dropping the second game 3-2 in a shootout as -265 road favorites, with the UNDER going 2-0. Meanwhile, the Penguins saw their five-game winning streak snapped with a 7-5 loss to the Bruins as -105 road underdogs Saturday. The OVER cashed for the first time in Pittsburgh’s last three games.

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -175 Favorites
Tampa Bay will look to rebound from its worst loss of 2021 in the opener of a two-game road series at Columbus. The Lightning fell 5-1 to the Red Wings as -350 home favorites on Sunday, and they have now lost four of their last six games. The OVER also cashed for the first time in Tampa Bay’s last four games. The Blue Jackets will be trying to end a three-game skid, including a 3-2 loss to the Lightning as +230 road underdogs last Thursday. The UNDER is 5-1 in the previous six games for Columbus as well, including the past two meetings with Tampa Bay.

Opening NHL Odds: Bruins -117 Favorites
Philadelphia will go for a home-and-home sweep of Boston following a 3-2 overtime victory at TD Garden on Monday. The Flyers got the game-winning goal from defenseman Travis Sanheim at the 3:08 mark of OT to cash as +150 road underdogs and end a two-game losing streak. The Bruins had won the previous five meetings and have alternated losses and wins in their last eight games overall. Boston has also lost four of five when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation while Philadelphia has won three in a row under that same scenario.

Opening NHL Odds: Islanders -117 Favorites
The two top teams in the East Division will clash on Tuesday when Washington visits New York to end a five-game road trip. The Capitals played the Islanders at Nassau Coliseum last Thursday and lost 8-4 as +100 underdogs before they swept two games against the Devils. The OVER is 4-1 in Washington’s last five games. New York is coming off a 3-2 shootout win over Philadelphia as a -170 home favorite on Saturday and continues a six-game homestand.

Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -142 Favorites
Carolina will attempt to defeat Florida for the fourth consecutive time in the opener of a two-game home series. The Hurricanes have gone 3-1 in the four meetings with the Panthers so far this season, winning each of the last three. However, Carolina has alternated wins and losses in its previous five games overall, with the UNDER on a 3-1 run. Florida brings a season-high six-game winning streak into this matchup, with the UNDER going 4-1 in the last five.

Nashville hopes to stay hot in the first of two games at Detroit. The Predators are coming off a 3-0 win over the Blackhawks as -120 road favorites on Saturday, and they have also won seven of their last eight along with nine of 11. The UNDER is 4-0-1 in Nashville’s past five games as well. The Red Wings ended a three-game losing streak in a big way on Sunday, routing the defending Stanley Cup champion Lightning 5-1 as +290 road underdogs. The OVER also cashed for the first time in Detroit’s last six games and second in its previous 10.

Opening NHL Odds: Stars -110 Favorites
Dallas finishes a six-game road trip with the first of two at Chicago. The Stars have split the first four games of their trip following a 1-0 loss to the Hurricanes as +160 underdogs on Sunday, with the UNDER improving to 4-0-1 in their last five. Chicago beat Dallas in the last meeting 4-2 as a +135 road underdog back on March 11, but the team has really struggled since then. The Blackhawks have lost eight of 11 after winning that game, with the UNDER on a 7-1 run.
Ducks vs Sharks | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Sharks -159 Favorites
San Jose rides a season-high four-game winning streak into this home matchup with Anaheim. The Sharks just swept the Kings in a pair of road games, and they have also won four in a row at home. The UNDER is 3-1-1 in San Jose’s last five games. The Ducks have gone the other direction, losing three straight and six of eight after getting swept in two home games by the Coyotes. The UNDER is 5-2 in Anaheim’s last seven games and 3-1 in the past four meetings.
