Carolina will go for a sweep of Florida and try to beat the team for fifth consecutive time in the finale of a two-game home set. The Hurricanes have gone 4-1 in the five meetings with the Panthers so far this year, winning each of the last four following a 5-2 rout as -155 favorites on Tuesday. Florida saw its season-high six-game winning streak snapped in the latest meeting, with the OVER cashing for the second time in three games overall since a 3-0 UNDER run.

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -188 Favorites
Tampa Bay will try to bounce back from losing two straight games by two goals or more for just the second time this year in the second of two at Columbus. The Lightning lost 4-2 to the Blue Jackets as -220 road favorites on Tuesday, falling behind 2-0 after two periods, with the OVER cashing for the second time in a row following a 3-0 UNDER run. Tampa Bay has also dropped five of its last seven for its worst stretch of 2021. Columbus ended a three-game skid with the win and saw the OVER cash for the second time in its past three after a 4-0 UNDER run.

Opening NHL Odds: Canadiens -138 Favorites
Two teams battling for playoff positioning in the North Division will face off when Winnipeg visits Montreal in the opener of a two-game series. The Jets open a five-game road trip at the Bell Centre and lead the Canadiens by six points in the North Division despite losing three of five. Montreal sits in fourth place but has played four less games due to COVID-19 protocols. The Canadiens have won four of their last five games, with the UNDER currently on a 3-1 run.

Pittsburgh hopes to avoid getting swept at New York in the finale of a two-game road set. The Penguins dropped the opener 8-4 as +105 underdogs on Tuesday for their second consecutive loss since putting together a season-high five-game winning streak. The Rangers earned their third victory in four games overall, and they have also won six of their last nine. Pittsburgh had won five of the previous six meetings in this series with New York, including all four at home.

Boston continues a three-game road trip at Washington before heading back to Philadelphia. The Bruins doubled up the Flyers 4-2 as -125 road favorites on Tuesday, with Patrice Bergeron notching a hat trick and goalie Jeremy Swayman making 40 saves to win his NHL debut. Boston has now alternated wins and losses in its last nine games. Meanwhile, the Capitals return home briefly following a five-game road trip that saw the team go 2-3 after losing 1-0 to the Islanders as +105 underdogs on Tuesday. Washington then hits the road again starting on Friday.

Opening NHL Odds: Islanders -182 Favorites
Philadelphia makes its second trip to New York in six days and looks to win the rematch. The Flyers fell 3-2 to the Islanders in a shootout as +150 road underdogs last Saturday, and they are coming off a 4-2 loss to the Bruins as +105 home dogs on Tuesday. Overall, Philadelphia has lost three of four and seven of 10. New York has headed in the opposite direction, winning three games in a row and six of its last eight to stay tied atop the East Division with Washington.

Opening NHL Odds: Predators -154 Favorites
Nashville attempts to win for the ninth time in 10 games in the second of two at Detroit. The Predators have won their last two games following a 3-2 shootout victory against the Red Wings as -170 road favorites Tuesday. The UNDER is 4-0-2 in Nashville’s last six games. Detroit has lost four of five and was coming off a 5-1 rout of Tampa Bay on Sunday. The Red Wings have also dropped the past three meetings with the Predators since splitting the first four this year.
Stars vs Blackhawks | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Stars -118 Favorites
Chicago will wrap up a two-game series versus Dallas before embarking on a five-game road trip. The Blackhawks have gone 11-7-2 at the United Center this season after topping the Stars 4-2 as +100 home underdogs on Tuesday. Chicago had lost two straight and four of five prior to that victory. Dallas has now lost two in a row and five of seven, falling to 6-8-3 on the road.
