Montreal will try to stop a two-game slide in the finale of a two-game home series versus Winnipeg. The Canadiens lost the opener 4-2 to the Jets as -120 favorites on Thursday, with the OVER cashing for the first time in three games and the second in their last six. Winnipeg has won its past two after losing two in a row and three of four, with the OVER on a 2-0 run.

Opening NHL Odds: Blue Jackets -108 Favorites

Chicago opens a five-game road trip with the first of two at Columbus. The Blackhawks are coming off a 5-1 loss to the Stars as -105 home underdogs on Thursday, also falling for the third time in four games and fifth in their last seven. The OVER has cashed in Chicago’s last two games and three of four following a 6-0 UNDER run. The Blue Jackets dropped a 6-4 decision to the Lightning on Thursday as well, losing for the fourth time in five games and eighth in their past 10. The OVER has cashed in Columbus’ last two after a 9-2 UNDER run.

Senators vs Maple Leafs | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -350 Favorites

Toronto rides a season-high five-game winning streak into this matchup with Ottawa. The Maple Leafs edged the Canadiens 3-2 as -155 home favorites on Wednesday, with the UNDER continuing on a 4-1-1 run in their last six games. The Senators have gone the other direction, losing three straight games and five of six, with the UNDER on an 8-2 run in their past 10. Ottawa has won three of the seven meetings with Toronto this year, including one on the road.

Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -321 Favorites

Carolina hopes to extend its winning streak to four games in the opener of a two-game home set against Detroit. The Hurricanes have outscored their opponents 9-2 in winning their last three games, with the UNDER on a 3-1 run in their past four. Meanwhile, the Red Wings have dropped two in a row and five of six, with the OVER going 2-0-1 in their previous three. Detroit has won two of the five meetings with Carolina this season, with both wins coming at home.

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -170 Favorites

Tampa Bay will look to finish a four-game road trip strong with the first of two games at Nashville. The Lightning are coming off a two-game split with the Blue Jackets following a 6-4 win as -220 favorites on Thursday, ending their two-game skid, with the OVER improving to 3-0 in their last three games. The Predators bring a three-game winning streak into the opener of this series, and they have also won nine of 10 and 11 of 13. The OVER cashed easily for Nashville in a 7-1 rout of Detroit as a -150 road favorite on Thursday, halting the team’s 4-0-2 UNDER run.

Wild vs Blues | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blues -112 Favorites

Minnesota will attempt to rebound from a 9-1 loss to St. Louis on Friday in the second game of a back-to-back situation at St. Louis. The Wild fell as -115 road favorites after winning three of their previous four, with the OVER on a 3-0 run. The Blues have won two games in a row since a season-high seven-game losing streak, with the OVER cashing in two of three since a 5-0 UNDER run. The teams have split two meetings so far this season, and Minnesota has won five of seven in the second game of a back-to-back while St. Louis has dropped three of four.

Kings vs Sharks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Sharks -133 Favorites

San Jose has dominated Los Angeles this season and will be trying to win the sixth straight meeting in the last game between them in 2021. The Sharks are coming off a 5-2 win as -130 home favorites Friday for their fifth victory in six games overall as well. The Kings have dropped four of their last five following the loss and seven of nine, with the OVER on a 3-0 run. San Jose is only three points out of a playoff spot right now, four ahead of Los Angeles.

Oilers vs Flames | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Oilers -130 Favorites

Edmonton will go for its third consecutive victory in the finale of a four-game road trip at Calgary. The Oilers just swept the Senators in a pair of games as -200 favorites each time, with the UNDER cashing in both to move to 6-0 in their last six. The Flames will be looking to stop a four-game losing streak in the finale of a three-game homestand after getting swept in two by the Maple Leafs. Three of Calgary’s four losses during its skid have been decided by two goals or more, and the team has also dropped five of seven meetings so far in 2021.
