Sabres vs Flyers | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Flyers -222 Favorites
Buffalo opens a three-game road trip on Sunday with a visit to Philadelphia. The Sabres have lost two games in a row since winning three of four, with the OVER on a 3-0 run. Meanwhile, the Flyers close out a two-game homestand following a 3-2 victory against the Bruins as +100 underdogs on Saturday. Philadelphia has won three straight when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation and taken five of the seven meetings with Buffalo so far this season.
Coyotes vs Golden Knights | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -225 Favorites
Vegas will go for the two-game home sweep of Arizona before embarking on a four-game road trip. The Golden Knights are coming off a 7-4 rout of the Coyotes as -230 favorites on Friday, building a 5-0 lead and cruising from there to win for the fourth time in five meetings this year. The OVER also improved to 4-1 in those five games between the teams. Arizona has dropped two in a row overall now after that loss, with the OVER cashing in three straight and five of six.
Penguins vs Devils | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -175 Favorites
Pittsburgh will look to extend its winning streak to three in the finale of a six-game road trip at New Jersey. The Penguins topped the Devils 6-4 as -180 favorites on Friday, with the OVER cashing in their fourth straight game. Pittsburgh has won three of the first five games of its trip, getting outscored 15-9 in the two losses. New Jersey has also seen the OVER go 4-0 in its last four, with the team surrendering five goals or more four times in losing five of its past six.
Rangers vs Islanders | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Islanders -150 Favorites
The Islanders hope to bounce back and earn a split of their two-game series with the Rangers to close out a six-game homestand. The Islanders had won the first four games of the homestand, with three of them decided by exactly one goal before falling 4-1 to the Rangers as -135 favorites on Friday. The UNDER is on a 4-0 run for the Islanders as well. For the Rangers, they have split the first four meetings this year, with the UNDER cashing in all of them.
Avalanche vs Ducks | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -300 Favorites
Colorado will finish a four-game road trip with the second of two at Anaheim. The Avalanche blanked the Ducks 2-0 as -340 favorites on Friday, successfully rebounding from an 8-3 loss to the Wild in their previous game on Wednesday. Anaheim has dropped five of the seven meetings with Colorado in 2021, with the UNDER cashing easily to end a 3-0 OVER run in the series. The Ducks have lost four of five overall while the Avalanche have won six of seven.
Stars vs Predators | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Stars -120 Favorites
Dallas will try to win three in a row for the first time since starting the campaign at 4-0 when the team visits Nashville following a 4-1 home victory against Florida in a pick’em matchup on Saturday. The Stars have won as many as two straight on only one other occasion this year, and they have lost five of six and eight of 10 when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation. Nashville is already riding a three-game winning streak and has also won nine of 10, and these teams have split six meetings so far this season, with four played at Dallas.
Capitals vs Bruins | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -111 Favorites
Boston will attempt to rebound back at home against Washington following a 3-2 loss as a -120 road favorite versus Philadelphia on Saturday. The Bruins had doubled up the Capitals 4-2 as +105 road underdogs on Thursday before falling to the Flyers. Washington bounced back from that last loss to Boston by edging Buffalo 4-3 as a -280 road favorite on Friday, with the OVER cashing for the third time in its last four games. The Bruins have won two in a row when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation after losing four straight under that scenario.
