Rangers vs Devils | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Rangers -167 Favorites
New York hopes to stay in the playoff race with the first of four consecutive games versus New Jersey. The Rangers visit the Devils for the first and fourth games of this home-and-home series and host them in the second and third. New York currently trails Boston by four points for the fourth and final postseason spot in the East Division but has also played two more games, and the team has alternated losses and wins in its previous six games. New Jersey sits in seventh place and has lost two games in a row along with six of seven, with the OVER on a 5-0 run.
Sabres vs Bruins | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Bruins -400 Favorites
Former Buffalo winger Taylor Hall will waste no time facing his old team as Boston continues a five-game homestand. The Bruins needed a boost after losing two straight and getting outscored 11-3 by the Flyers and Capitals, and they picked up Hall from the Sabres on Sunday in a trade. Boston is also hoping to get goalie Tuukka Rask back this week to help the team make a playoff push. Buffalo upset Philadelphia 5-3 as a +180 road underdog on Sunday, rallying back from deficits of 2-0 and 3-2, with the OVER cashing for the fourth straight time.
Flyers vs Capitals | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -162 Favorites
Philadelphia begins an important two-game road trip at Washington. The Flyers have lost three of their last four games, and they are four points behind the Bruins for the fourth and final playoff spot in the East Division. Meanwhile, the Capitals are tied with the Islanders atop the East after winning two in a row on the road, with the OVER on a 3-0 run. Since losing the first meeting with Philadelphia this season back on February 7, Washington has won three straight in the series, all away from home. The OVER is also 3-1 in the four meetings between them this year.
Flames vs Maple Leafs | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -263 Favorites
Calgary will try to win consecutive games for the first time in nearly a month when the team opens a three-game road trip at Toronto. The Flames ended a four-game skid with a 5-0 rout of the Oilers as +100 home underdogs on Saturday, but they have not won two in a row since putting together a three-game winning streak between March 11 and 15. The Maple Leafs are coming off a 4-2 loss to the Canadiens as -155 road favorites on Monday, ending their season-long winning streak at six games. Toronto has won six of eight meetings with Calgary in 2021.
Lightning vs Predators | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -175 Favorites
Nashville wraps up a three-game homestand versus Tampa Bay and looks to avenge a loss to the same team in the opener. The Lightning blanked the Predators 3-0 as identical -175 road favorites on Saturday, with the UNDER cashing to end a 3-0 OVER run for the defending Stanley Cup champions. Nashville rebounded to beat Dallas 3-2 as a -105 underdog on Sunday to win for the 10th time in 12 games. Tampa Bay has won six of the seven meetings this year.
Panthers vs Stars | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Pick’em -110 Odds
Florida will attempt to halt a three-game losing streak in the finale of a two-game road series at Dallas. The Panthers lost the opener to the Stars 4-1 in a pick’em matchup on Saturday, with the UNDER cashing in their second straight game. Florida has not lost more than three in a row so far this year, reeling off a season-high six-game winning streak the only other time that happened between March 21 and 25. The UNDER has cashed in three of four for the Panthers and six of eight. Dallas is coming off a 3-2 loss as a -115 road favorite at Nashville on Sunday.
