But Ottawa has managed to win four of the seven meetings in this series, including two on the road. The Canadiens won for just the second time in six games on Friday, edging the Flames 2-1 as -135 home favorites to earn a two-game split. The UNDER is 5-1-1 in Montreal’s last seven.

Opening NHL Odds: Blues -130 Favorites
St. Louis will try to stay in the playoff race with this key road game at Arizona. The Blues actually lead the Coyotes by one point for the fourth and final postseason spot in the West Division but have two games in hand despite falling 4-3 to the Avalanche as +140 home underdogs on Wednesday. St. Louis had won its previous three games. Meanwhile, Arizona is riding a five-game losing streak to fall out of playoff position, with the OVER on a 5-1 run in its last six.

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -150 Favorites
Tampa Bay will go for a sweep of Florida in the finale of this two-game home series. The Lightning edged the Panthers 3-2 in overtime as -165 favorites on Thursday, with defenseman Victor Hedman scoring the game-winning goal. Tampa Bay has now won three of its last four games to remain tied atop the Central Division with Carolina. Florida has dropped four of its last five but still managed to earn a point, with the UNDER cashing for the fourth straight time.

Detroit looks to win its fourth straight for the first time in 2021 and sweep Chicago in this two-game home set. The Red Wings won their third in a row for the first time with a 4-1 victory against the Blackhawks as +140 underdogs on Thursday, with the UNDER cashing for the second consecutive time. Chicago had won five of the previous six meetings and was trying to extend its winning streak to three overall, with the UNDER cashing for the first time in five games too.
Predators vs Hurricanes | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -175 Favorites
Carolina ended a two-game skid in the opener of this two-game home series against Nashville and will try for the sweep here. The Hurricanes topped the Predators 4-1 as -190 favorites on Thursday to remain tied with the Lightning atop the Central Division, with the UNDER cashing in its second straight game and for the third time in four games. Nashville had won two games in a row, five of six and 13 of 16 prior to that setback. The Predators still sit in fourth place.
Blue Jackets vs Stars | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Stars -150 Favorites
Dallas will attempt to sweep Columbus after a big victory in the opener of this two-game home set. The Stars are coming off a 4-1 win over the Blue Jackets as -180 favorites Thursday, with the total landing on the number for the second time in three games. The struggles of Columbus continued, as the team has lost four straight and seven of eight. The OVER is also on a 4-0-1 run for the Blue Jackets, who have allowed four goals or more each time during their skid.

Opening NHL Odds: Wild -188 Favorites
Minnesota hopes to complete a perfect 3-0 homestand with a two-game sweep of San Jose. The Wild defeated the Sharks 3-2 as -190 favorites on Friday, extending their opponent’s losing streak to four games. San Jose has split six meetings with Minnesota now, with the UNDER on a 3-0 run in the team’s last three games overall. In addition, the Sharks have lost 11 of 15 when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation while the Wild have dropped three of four.
Oilers vs Jets | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Jets -115 Favorites
Edmonton closes out a five-game road trip with a visit to Winnipeg. The Oilers have split the first four games of their trip following a 5-0 loss to the Flames as -120 favorites on Saturday. The UNDER is also on an impressive 7-0 run for Edmonton. The Jets will open a six-game homestand in this spot, and they have won two in a row and five of six overall. Edmonton has won four of the six meetings with Winnipeg so far this season, including the last three at home.
