Predators vs Blackhawks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Predators -138 Favorites

Nashville will look to continue its dominance of Chicago this year in the second game of a three-game series at the United Center. The Predators moved one small step closer to clinching the fourth and final playoff spot in the Central Division with a 5-2 rout of the Blackhawks as -145 home favorites on Monday, improving to a perfect 6-0 in the season series. Nashville leads Chicago by four points and Dallas by three in the standings but has played more games than both teams. In order to stay in the playoff race, the Blackhawks will most likely need to win the next two over the Predators at home, where they have gone 11-8-2. Nashville owns an 11-12-1 road record.

Wild vs Coyotes | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Wild -133 Favorites

Minnesota will try to win five straight games for the third time in the finale of a two-game road set at Arizona. The Wild beat the Coyotes 5-2 as -145 favorites on Monday, with the OVER improving to 3-1 in their last four games. In fact, three of the four wins during Minnesota’s current winning streak have resulted in identical 5-2 scores. With that most recent loss, Arizona has dropped six of seven, with the OVER also cashing in three of its past four and six of eight. The Wild have now won six of the seven meetings this year, with the OVER on a 2-0 series run.

Sharks vs Golden Knights | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -240 Favorites

Vegas will be going for a season-high eighth straight victory and attempt to equal the longest winning streak in franchise history in the finale of a two-game home set versus San Jose. The Golden Knights rallied back from an early 2-0 deficit to defeat the Sharks 3-2 in a shootout as -270 home favorites on Monday. Vegas has already put together its longest streak of 2021 and can also improve to 7-0 against San Jose in 2021 with another victory in this spot. The Sharks are riding a six-game skid overall as well, with the UNDER on a 4-1 run in their last five too.

Canadiens vs Oilers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Oilers -118 Favorites

The incredible UNDER run for Edmonton will be put to the test yet again when the team hosts Montreal in the finale of a two-game home series. The UNDER is 9-0 in the last nine games for the Oilers after they topped the Canadiens 4-1 as -140 home favorites on Monday. Edmonton has not allowed more than two goals in any of the team’s six wins during that stretch, also getting shut out twice among the three losses over that same period. Montreal has seen the UNDER go 5-0-1 in its last six as well, scoring only two goals total in the team’s last four losses. The Canadiens had won four of the previous five meetings but have dropped six of eight overall.
