Hurricanes vs Panthers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -111 Favorites

Carolina will go for its third win in a row and try to sweep Florida in the finale of a two-game road series on Saturday. The Hurricanes doubled up the Panthers 4-2 as -130 favorites in the opener on Thursday, with the total pushing following five consecutive UNDERs for the visitors. Florida saw its three-game winning streak end with the defeat, and the total had also cashed in the team’s previous three as well.  The Panthers have dropped six of the seven meetings.

Maple Leafs vs Jets | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -138 Favorites

Winnipeg hopes to end a two-game losing streak and avoid a two-game sweep by Toronto in the finale of a two-game home set. The Jets fell 5-3 to the Maple Leafs in the opener as +115 underdogs, and they are 0-2 on a key five-game homestand. Toronto halted a season-high five-game skid with the win and saw the OVER cash in their second straight game and for the third time in their last four. The Maple Leafs have won five of eight meetings after the victory.

Stars vs Red Wings | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Stars -190 Favorites

Dallas looks to bounce back from a bad loss to Detroit in the second of two road meetings. The Stars were routed 7-3 by the Red Wings as -210 favorites on Thursday, with the OVER improving to 3-0-1 in their last four games. Dallas had won its previous four games and is still chasing Nashville for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Central Division. Detroit stopped a three-game losing streak with the win and won for the second time in seven meetings this year.

Canadiens vs Flames | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Canadiens -118 Favorites

Calgary is coming off an important victory against Montreal on Friday and will look to make it two wins in two days here. The Flames defeated the Canadiens 4-2 as -120 home favorites in the opener of this three-game series, and they will square off twice more in the next three days. Calgary ended a two-game skid with the win, with the UNDER going 4-0-1 in its last five, but the team has dropped four of five when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation. Montreal has also lost two in a row under the same scenario after winning its previous four.

Capitals vs Islanders | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Islanders -125 Favorites

The battle for first place in the East Division continues here when Washington visits New York for the second of three straight meetings. The Capitals are coming off a 1-0 shootout victory against the Islanders in the first of the three on Thursday, cashing as +105 road underdogs, with the UNDER ending a 7-0 OVER run for them. New York trails Washington by one point for the division lead after the setback but is also now tied with Pittsburgh for second place in the East. The Islanders had won two in a row prior to that, and the UNDER is 8-1-1 in their past 10.

Wild vs Sharks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Wild -143 Favorites

Minnesota rides a season-high six-game winning streak to San Jose for the finale of a four-game road trip. The Wild are coming off a 4-2 win over the Kings as -160 favorites on Friday, although they have lost three of four when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation. The Sharks are looking to stop a season-high seven-game skid in the opener of a three-game homestand, and they have also dropped four of the seven meetings in this series so far.

Senators vs Canucks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Canucks -154 Favorites

Vancouver will try to rebound from a shutout against Ottawa in the second of two home games before hitting the road. The Canucks were blanked 3-0 by the Senators as -150 home favorites on Thursday, and they embark on a four-game trip after this one, starting with a pair at Ottawa. Vancouver had won two in a row as big underdogs following a three-game skid. The Senators beat the Canucks for the first time this year, and they have also tied a season high with a three-game winning streak. The UNDER is on a 3-0-2 run in the last five games for Ottawa as well.

Golden Knights vs Ducks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -244 Favorites

Vegas will attempt to put together a franchise-best nine-game winning streak at Anaheim. The Golden Knights tied their best-ever mark of eight straight wins with a 5-2 victory against the Sharks as -280 home favorites on Wednesday to sweep the season series. The Ducks have already lost twice to them during their current winning streak, and they have beaten them only once in seven meetings overall in 2021. Vegas has gone 3-0 at Anaheim though, and the team has lost just once at the Honda Center in nine games there all-time dating back to 2017.
