Bruins vs Penguins | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Bruins -118 Favorites

Boston wraps up a five-game road trip and hopes to bounce back from a 1-0 loss in the series opener at Pittsburgh in the final regular-season meeting between the teams on Tuesday. The Bruins closed as -125 favorites but were blanked by the Penguins, who moved into first place in the East Division with the victory. The UNDER improved to 6-1 in the seven meetings this year, and Pittsburgh has now won four straight games along with eight of 10. With the loss, Boston has dropped two games in a row since a six-game winning streak.

Sabres vs Rangers | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Rangers -275 Favorites

New York continues to push for a playoff spot in the finale of a two-game home series versus Buffalo. The Rangers routed the Sabres 6-3 as -300 favorites on Sunday, with the OVER cashing for the first time in three games behind Mika Zibanejad’s third hat trick of the year. New York moved within four points of Boston for fourth in the East but has played two more games. The Rangers have won their last two and six of eight, and they have also taken five of the seven meetings in this series. Buffalo has lost three of four overall, with the OVER on a 3-0 run.

Red Wings vs Blue Jackets | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blue Jackets -143 Favorites

Columbus will try to end a season-high nine-game losing streak against Detroit. The Blue Jackets are solid favorites despite their current skid, although the Red Wings have won three of the first five meetings this season, with the UNDER going 5-0. Columbus was just swept at Tampa Bay, and the OVER is 8-1-1 in the team’s last 10 games overall. Detroit is coming off a two-game split with Dallas after falling 2-1 in overtime as a +175 home underdog on Saturday.

Islanders vs Capitals | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -125 Favorites

Washington finishes a key three-game series with New York at home. The Capitals played the first two games on the road and won both by a combined score of 7-3 as small underdogs. The OVER is also on an 8-1 run for Washington. The Islanders had won two straight before losing the last two to the Capitals, and they trail them by three points in the East Division standings. Pittsburgh took over the division lead from Washington with a victory against Boston on Sunday.

Flyers vs Devils | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Flyers -133 Favorites

Philadelphia visits New Jersey in the second game of a four-game series before heading back home for the finale. The Flyers are coming off a 4-3 shootout win over the Devils as -210 home favorites Sunday, and they play the next two games of the series in New Jersey. The Devils are riding a season-high 10-game skid, with the OVER on a 4-1-1 run. Philadelphia is nine points behind Boston for the final playoff spot in the East and likely needs to win out to have a shot.

Panthers vs Predators | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Panthers -130 Favorites

Nashville hopes to take one step closer to a playoff berth in the finale of a two-game home set against Florida. The Predators beat the Panthers 4-1 as +105 underdogs on Monday, with the UNDER cashing in their second straight game. Nashville has allowed two goals or less in each of its last 13 wins and continues to lead Dallas by two points for fourth place in the Central Division. Florida has lost two of three following a three-game winning streak.

Lightning vs Blackhawks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -208 Favorites

Tampa Bay will go for its third consecutive win overall and attempt to beat Chicago for the seventh time in eight meetings this season. The Lightning are coming off a two-game sweep of the Blue Jackets after splitting a two-game set with the Hurricanes, who still lead the Central Division by two points over the Panthers and three points over the Lightning. The UNDER is 3-1 in Tampa Bay’s last four games as well. The Blackhawks remain in the hunt for the playoffs, sitting seven points behind Nashville for the fourth and final spot in the Central.

Hurricanes vs Stars | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Hurricanes -133 Favorites

Dallas looks to stay hot and complete a sweep of Carolina in the finale of a two-game home series. The Stars kept pace with the Predators thanks to a 4-3 overtime victory against the Hurricanes as +105 underdogs Monday, winning their second in a row and sixth in seven games. Carolina lost consecutive games for just the second time since March 20, but the team has won three in a row when playing the second game of a back-to-back situation along with seven of nine and 10 of 13. Dallas has lost three straight in the second game of a back-to-back.
