Predators vs Blue Jackets | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Predators -170 Favorites
Nashville will go for its third straight win and try to inch closer to clinching the fourth and final playoff spot in the Central Division in the finale of a two-game road series at Columbus. The Predators edged the Blue Jackets 4-3 in overtime as -170 favorites in the opener on Monday, with the OVER cashing for the second time in their last three games. Columbus has lost two in a row now and 11 of 12, with the team’s last four games overall decided by exactly one goal.
Capitals vs Rangers | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Capitals -109 Favorites
Washington hopes to keep pace with Pittsburgh atop the East by earning a two-game sweep of New York on Wednesday. The Capitals won the opener versus the Rangers 6-3 as -115 road favorites on Monday after getting swept themselves by the Penguins. Washington trails Pittsburgh by two points but also has two games in hand. New York has already been eliminated from postseason contention after losing their last three games, with the UNDER on a 3-1 run.
Stars vs Lightning | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Lightning -158 Favorites
Dallas is in desperation mode in trying to stay alive for a playoff spot as the team begins a season-ending four-game road trip at Tampa Bay. The defending Western Conference champion Stars trail the Predators by four points for fourth place in the Central, but they also have one game in hand. The defending Stanley Cup champion Lightning have a tougher task in attempting to catch the division-leading Hurricanes, as they need to make up six points with one game in hand. Tampa Bay has won five of six overall along with five of the first six meetings.
Ducks vs Blues | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Blues -240 Favorites
St. Louis looks to even its home record on the season and move closer to clinching fourth place in the West in the second of two home games versus Anaheim. The Blues beat the Ducks 3-1 as -240 favorites on Monday, improving their mark at the Enterprise Center to 10-11-4. St. Louis has won five of its last six games overall, with the OVER on a 3-1 run. Anaheim has dropped two of three and seven of nine, with the UNDER on a 4-1 run in its past five games.
Golden Knights vs Wild | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -120 Favorites
Minnesota will try to defeat Vegas for the sixth consecutive time and complete a two-game home sweep here. The Wild have had the number of the Golden Knights since losing the first two meetings of the year, reeling off five straight wins in the series, including a come-from-behind 6-5 victory as +100 underdogs on Monday. Vegas led Minnesota 5-3 halfway through the third period before losing for the second time in three games after a 10-game winning streak. The OVER is on a 6-0 run for the Wild and has cashed in four of six for the Golden Knights too.
Jets vs Flames | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Pick’em -105 Odds
Winnipeg will attempt to end a season-high seven-game losing streak at Calgary. The Jets are on the verge of seeing the Canadiens pass them for third place in the North Division, as both teams are currently tied with 57 points apiece. Calgary is 10 points back of each after losing two of its last three games, with the UNDER on a 3-0 run during that stretch. Winnipeg has won five of the first eight meetings this season, including two of three at home from March 26 to 29.
Kings vs Coyotes | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Coyotes -145 Favorites
Two West Division teams that still have an outside shot of making the playoffs will square off at Arizona when Los Angeles wraps up a two-game series there. The Coyotes lost the opener 3-2 to the Kings as -160 favorites on Monday, as they sit five points behind the Blues for fourth place in the West while their opponent is four behind them. Neither will likely catch St. Louis, with Arizona losing four of its last five and the UNDER cashing in the team’s past three. Los Angeles has alternated wins and losses in its previous six, with the UNDER on a 5-1 run.
Avalanche vs Sharks | OddsShark Matchup Report
Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -264 Favorites
Colorado can move back into a tie atop the West with another victory here at San Jose and a loss by Vegas. The Avalanche are looking to sweep the Sharks in four games before visiting the Kings for two and the Golden Knights for one next Monday in a matchup that could decide the division title. Colorado rallied back for a 5-4 overtime win as a -270 road favorite on Monday. The OVER is on a 6-1 run for the Sharks, who have dropped three in a row and 11 of 13.
